I was quite sceptical when I was joining the institute, but after one year of my course, I am extremely satisfied. Everyday I got to learn something new. This place is the mecca for insurance education in india. The insurance industry in itself is extremely large and is growing at 15% rapidly, thus the college provides you the perfect platform and equip you with sufficient knowledge to become a part of this industry.

The Course curriculum here consists of 50% percent insurance subjects and 50% Management subjects, thus we get a dual degree after completion of the course i. e PGDM in Insurance and General Management. The course provides sufficient knowledge required to be an excellent insurer, thus attracting employers from all over country, which leads to 100 percent since inception. Industry leaders and practitioners often come here for guest lectures and conferences providing industry insight to the students.

NATIONAL INSURANCE ACADEMY has the track record of 100% placement since inception. The current batch got 100% placement on the zero day itself. Similarly for Internship the entire batch of 92 got placed in private companies. The major recruiters are the leading Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers and IT Companies.

Our Management and Cultural Fest - MANTHAN, It is a 2 days fest, with students participation coming from colleges all over Pune. We have formal Seminars and Conferences : Insurance Summit: It is a one day conference normally which is held in Trident, Mumbai. Some of the other Summits include, hour Summit, CD DESHMUKH Seminar and NIA SWISS RE SEMINAR.

The fees when in comparison with other management institutions and the services provided is quite feasible. The 2 year course fees which include college fees and hostel fees is 11. 25 lakhs. The fees is generally to be submitted via NEFT. No Management quota seats are not available here. The transparent fee structure is provided to you at the beginning of the course which is strictly followed till the end of the course.

No. I haven't opted for the scholarship. But scholarships options are available on merit basis. Top 2 students having passed the course with highest marks will be getting s scholarship of 1 lakh each.

The campus life is excellent, we have a very beautiful 32 acres green and clean campus in Pune. The campus is equipped with all the facilities, including gym, swimming pool, playground etc. We even have the biggest library in Asia for Insurance. The gender ratio is 60 boys : 40 Girls. The cultural committee is formed every year which consists of student members, thus every festival is celebrated in our college from Holi, Diwali to Chouristmas and Eid. Students from every part of India are here and they too come from different backgrounds including engineers, accountants, IT guys, Pharma, Agriculture etc. The college has zero tolerance policy towards Ragging. The place is peaceful and serene providing perfect environment for overall growth and development.

Yes, I have opted for Hostels. The hostels here are very good, the rooms are spacious and available only on double sharing basis. No other option is available. The hostels are well furnished. Hospitality services is very good, daily cleaning is done, new bedsheets and towels are provided every week. Mess facilities are also pretty good. The quality of the food served is good, with variety of food options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Alumni network is very strong, the alumni of our college are working in most of the private and government sector insurance companies. Some of them are heading there companies as Vice President, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Underwriters etc. There is an Alumni committee which maintains the database of our alums, thus regular formal and informal sessions are organised, so we can have direct interaction with them.

I got admission in this college on the basis of my CMAT marks as well as after I cleared the on campus round, which included, GD, WAT and PI. The cutoff last year for candidates applying via CMAT was 85, this year it was 87. 5, The admission happens in 2 stages, for the total 100 seats. One round happens in March and the second round happens in April. I chose this institution as I wanted to make my career in the INSURANCE INDUSTRY and. It is a trimester course, thus on an average we have 140 lectures per trimester. The faculty of the college who teaches insurance specific subjects comes directly from the industry i. e retired senior managers of the insurance sector psu's having experience of 30+ years on field experience. The management subject faculties are also top notch, having strong academic background simultaneously guest faculties are also arranged as per the need of the subject. Overall faculties are very experienced, who imparts the knowledge effectively.
