Review on Sharda University

Good for those who didn't qualified for govt. colleges.

I have taken BTech in computer science. Various languages are taught in all the semesters. In the first semester C language was taught which is the basic language. Currently I'm studying python. Other subjects lyk mathematics, engineering physics etc are also taught in my course.

Various companies visit the campus for taking students for internships in 7 th semester and many companies then offer them placements after the last semester. Average package of the university for computer science students is 3 lakhs.

Various events are held at the college. hecathon, global hecathon, sports meet, interactions with motivational speakers and industrialists are also held. Festivals lyk diwali, holi, basant panchmi, etc are also celebrated with prosperous. An annual event named chorus is also held in which various celebrities come and perform. Students take part in various activities.

The fees is bit expensive. But it's actually worthy. The payment of the fees can be done semester wise or anually as well. For an annual payment, there is a discount in the fees payment. There is college fees, examination fees, registration fees. Hostel fees has to be paid for the whole year.

I have got a 40 percent scholarship in the tution fees at the university. It's offered for the first year only. In order to continue the scholarship, I have to get a grade of 8 or more cgpa per year. I got the scholarship because of my rank in JEE mains.

There are more than 20000 students in the university as the university offers various courses lyk BTech in various streams lyk civil, computer science, electronics, electrical, mechanical etc. Therefore the college has a large no. of students. There are students from the outer countries as well.

I am currently residing in Sarojini hostel in the campus of Sharda University, greater noida. I am sharing it with two other girls as it's a thouree seater. The hostel also offers single seater and double seater with variation in fees. The double seater charges 120000 as it has attached washouroom. The price of single seater is 110000.

All seniors are nice. They are helpful. They conduct various lectures in order to help their juniors learn technical stuff. No ragging is done.

I got admission on the basis of my rank in JEE mains. I also got a scholarship because of my rank. An interview is also done to get the admission in the respected college. I opted BTech in computer science. The university has a good infrastructure and qualified teachers.

Faculty can be accesses directly by going in their cabins. Mails can be send to the respected faculty. Whatsapp groups are also made to make the interactions easy. Students can send messages to them privately and the issue is resolved in brief time.
