Overall that's an good college in which i got to have more memories within 2 years of time
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum framed by the Anna university since it was affiliated. The concerned faculty handled and covered it in smooth manner. We had more practical experience. We went for industrial visit every semester. The one in Diamond Engineering (chennai), Neyveli lignite corporation (neyveli) and also we went for IV to cochin.
Placement Experience
The placement were quite good. There were enormous companies which came for recruitment. The interview process includes the apptitude round, Group discussion round which is followed by the hour round.
College Events
All the events were celebrated as biggest fest. Starting from pongal celebration which would always remain everyone's favorite event, the department symposiums, culturals and sports meet which were common other than these festival the alumni meet, welcoming freshers played major role.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were feasible. Since i got thourough entrance mine was way very less compared to management fee structure. They accept only check payment for semester fees. Other than semester fees everything is paid by cash. They hold 5000 per student who joined thourough government quota at the beginning of the course and revert us back once the course is done.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship for the first graduation student. The eligibility criteria include the fathers annual salary which is less than 200000 per annum. Scholarship was provided every year.
Campus Life
The college included 50:50 gender ratio. More events will be conducted over an year so that there was more opportunity for every individual regardless sexual orientation, politics, religionand economic status. The workshops were conducted periodically
Alumni/Alumna
Other than alumni meet we get to meet our seniors thourough orientation programs where they provided more helpful information.
Admission
I got into saveetha by writing an entrance exam (Tancet). Tancet is conducted during the month of julyand once the results were published the counseling dates will be announced. I attended the counseling which happened in coimbatore on August 10th. I choosed Saveetha engineering college. After completing the process, i visited the college and joined the institution on august 31 2016
Faculty
There were around 15 professors MBA and their ages ranged from 27 to 40. All of the professors were pHD holders who had very good knowledge about all the subjects. They valued it by providing more real time examples and explained how exactly every industry or an organisation works.
