Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow and follows the syllabus recommended by it. The exam structure at PSIT is such that it tests your analytical and comprehensive skills at the same time along with your intellect and time management. Amidst a semester you have 4 sets of assignments per subject along with 2 CT's and thereafter a PU. They make you competent enough to face the university exams.
Placement Experience
As already said the placement cell is quite competent, hence the placements at PSIT is quite good. If you meet the eligibility criteria, chances are quite high that you are going to be placed in some of the other companies visiting the campus frequently.
College Events
The college boasts of an annual cultural-cum technical event, IGNITIA a 2-day event followed by a celebrity night. Colleges from U.P participate in this fest and it's quite intimidating to watch them compete. The college holds frequent workshops from time to time enabling students to grasp the knowledge of the industry.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are feasible enough. Students can get fee waiver depending on their rank in AKTU entrance exam or according to their class 12th marks too. There is also a separate policy for a student whose parent's income falls below a certain margin. Hence the fees are pretty feasible to all.
Campus Life
The college also boasts of about 20 student clubs in different fields ranging from the coding club and the designing club to the performing arts club such as DANZEAL and the debating society. Sports also form an inseparable part of PSIT dynamic. During the IGNITIA launch, an annual sports event is also organized
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni from PSIT are placed in different MNC's in India and some are even working abroad. Some have joined the armed forces and are serving the nation.
Admission
I got admission through management quota in the institute. Though the process didn't take into account my rank in the entrance, yet they conducted a 30 min exam on mathematics, English and reasoning. Also, you need to score above 60% in your boards.
Faculty
The faculty here at PSIT is highly trained and always ready to help you. They ensure that every student gets 100% of the learning imparted by them.
