My opinion on the college would be poor. It needs alot of development in academic and teaching quality. Involvement with the students is minor. The students are confused an remain unguided thouroughout their degree. Alot of inspection and development required

The course structure is developed by the PU administration and needs to be followed strictly by the college. For mechanical engineering there consists of 8 semesters which consists of an average 12 subjects in each semester. 6 theory subjects and 6 practical subjects. the course structure is not hectic, you might get free by afternoon. the examination consists of sessional exams as well as final semester exam. There are 2 sessional exams conducted during the semester which gets counted as your internal marks. The best marks out of the 2 sessionals will be counted. the final semester marks are counted as external marks. the total marks for each subject is 100 and passing marks is 40. If you score less then 40 marks in a subject then you get an F grade and have to repeat the subject exam until one obtains a passing grade.

Placements start to take place during your final year. A whatsapp group is created where the volunteers would keep on informing about all the companies going to visit and their eligibility criteria. Firstly if you are qualified you need to fill the google doc. After that depending on the companies requirements one has to go for the GD, PI rounds on required desitanation. The placements are majorly from IT, tech and sales companies. The stipend for the companies was an average of 2 lacs per annum, many companies like infosys, cognizant, godrej etc have come for placement. The mechanical students are required to undergo final year internshil in industrial training. The college does not help in placing you for the internship one has to search on his own.

Various clubs are available in college, music, technical and management. one annual festival is held on october every year which is of 2-3 days long. In this event you have all technical related programs such as solid works event and then you have the cultural event which consists of performance from native singers and varios other activities

The fees is however quite feasible in comparison to similar colleges. Your degree will be completed in about 3. 5 lacs. There are also alot of benefits to economically weaker sections of society by grant in concession of fees

There are no loans available for the course. But meritorious students might get a fee waiver if they score well in academics. If the student belongs to weaker section of society he might get a fee waiver and concession on fees provided that one has required documents

Overall the college activities are quite dull. Occasionally activities performed by various clubs of the college. there is a jagrata organised by dorm students each year. annual sports day is conducted, other than that activities on sports is negligible. occasion workshops are conducted by private organization for promoting their products. Seniir of the college were themselves confused by the happenings in the college. There is no fixed routine any deadline might jump up any timeA whatsapp group is created for the alumni and occasional meetups are held

The process includes by appearing for the JEE exam. If you attain a certain cutoff for this college you might get admission. There is no interview process, after you get the cutoff rank you have to verify documents from PU on mentioned date and register yourself. I chose mechanical engineering because I could attain a seat only in this field due to my curoff rank. After getting selected the JAC panel will fix a date for verification of all engineering colleges affiliated to PU where your seat will be allotted and all documents and id proofs need to be verified, Even hostels may be alloted on the same day. After verification you have to submit the fees online thourough SBI pay and pay the printed reciept along with registration to the required staff. This college offers engineering in 4 fields which are mechanical, civil, electronics and computer science. The highest no of students who get placed are from computer science department

The teaching faculty of the course are selected thourough an entrance exam, many of the teachers are on contract, while some are permanent. The department consist of an HOD and assistant professor for each subject, theory and laboratory. the teachers are quite qualified some of them even holding PHD degrees. My opinion of the faculty will be poor. most of the teachers do not indulge with deep involvment in the subject and explanation of the topic, most of them only teach how to pass for the exam and explanation is really bad. Discipline is also not maintained, numericals are hardly understandable, No relevance with real life scenarios. they ask for assignments which is joke, you have to fill irrelevant pages by copying each other and just fill pages and write blindly which will be bundled up and probably never open. Most of the teachers excluding the HOD and few others teach in native language and they explain mechanical without involving digital picture or diagrams
