Remarks
I'd say I had a pretty chill experience. There were ups and downs but they make you stronger by the time you graduate and then you'll understand why you had to thourough that phase. At the end of day all that matters is the memories that you make and the type of individual you evolve to be.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty flexible as CMREC follows jntuh's curriculum. You're gonna have 2 semesters per year each semester consisting it's own set of subjects along with labs. Before taking semester exam you're gonna have to go thourough 2 midterm examinations and respective lab internals and externals which add up to aggregate along with final semester marks. If you just kinda focus during exams it shouldn't be a big deal
Placement Experience
There are plethora of placement opportunities available. It all depends upon your field of interest and your requirement. Most of the companies that offer placements are good profile companies. They also provide various internship opportunities which also again depends upon your field of interest.
College Events
Many events are organized by the administration ranging from technical intended for educational purpose to non technical events intended for recreational purpose. Students take part of the events actively moreover events are organized by students themselves based on their own ideas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
With Fee Reimbursement about 25000 INR/year. Without Fee Reimbursement about 60000 INR/year. NBA and library fees will be charged separately about 5000 INR. Comparing to other colleges it is affordable you need not separately take education loan for this.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Reimbursement is available for BC/SC/ST students. Government will provide about half of the fee and you need to pay the remaining half. For SC/ST students about 75% of the fee will be taken by the government
Campus Life
Gender ratio is about 10:6 boys to girls. Student parties are organized independently by classes. Various workshops are conducted such as ethical hacking, robotics, artificial intelligence and many more on which students are supposed to have knowledge on. I'd say college is discrimination free. Everyone's open minded and they respect individual's beliefs and opinions. Fair politics run in the college that is the student who is good at speaking whole student community's opinion is elected as Student community representative.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni students are helpful. Some of them provide placement opportunities for their startups. There will be events where alumni students visit and personally advise you about career choices and share their experiences.
Admission
Since CMR is known for its wide range of placement options before graduating and moreover to my rank best available college was CMR. So without any second thoughts I joined this college. For me admission was thourough eamcet test. During counseling I put CMR on top of my priority list. On the other I had TKR college as my backup option which I got in my second counseling. As CMR is kinda pro considering all educational and non educational facilities so I obviously chose CMR.
Faculty
Most of the faculty is pretty qualified to teach the subject. Moreover if you aren't satisfied with the faculty you can inform the administration department. They will even arrange for guest lecturers.
