Remarks

Good Infrastructure and Great Curriculum. Dont let the cost degrade the reputation of the college. Very helpful in development of character and social skills which many other colleges lack. Very supportive to students with ideas and innovations.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is pretty unique. We have around 3 labs per week and an exam almost every week which contribute to the final CG of the semester. So it costs a lot by missing even a single lab or regular quizzes.

Placement Experience

4

2 Internships are provided. One at the end of second year and during 4th year. Stipend is given only for interns in 4th year. For dual degree students there are two internship programs in their final year(5th year), I which student can opt to choose either one or both.

College Events

5

Pearl- Cultural Fest- (4000- 5000 footfall). Atmos- Technical Fest'(3000-7000 footfall). Arena- Sporrs Fest -(5000- 7000 footfall). All these are crowd attracted with a very diverse crowd from all over the country.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is kind of expensive and it is a on time payment per semester. The money invested feels worth it. And we have various scholarship programs for students to avail. Around 30% of total students are awarded with some minimum scholarships every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two kind of scholarships, merit and merit cum need scholarships. Merit scholarship is purely based on the semester's CG, where as Merit cum need scholarships are given to students who have considerable CG and parents annual income.

Campus Life

4.5

87:13 is gender ratio. And that doesn't affect the participation of anyone in various extracurricular activities. There are no usual conflicts regarding caste, religion and so on. But there is a slight majority of the students from south and hyderabd, since the college in located in Hyderabad.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

8/10 for hostel Infrastructure and maintenance. Better than most other national level colleges. Double sharing rooms for 1st and 2and year students. Single rooms for 3rd,4th and 5th year students. There is room for about 5000 students, and new hostels are being built in a year.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful. Seniors are the one's who lead us in organising the fests and smooth running of various departments and clubs. And alumni is also very indulgent in campus activities. They have a meet once a year with the students on campus.

Admission

Admission is based on merit obtained in the entrance exam. I choose for a dual degree because that give me a opportunity to choose for a desired Bachelor degree in second year based on our CG in 1st year.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculty and staff are well experienced and are from reputed institutes from all over the county. Most of them who have done their PhD's in reputed IIT's. They are very well versed in teaching methods.

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
