Course Curriculum Overview

It is a course which have 60% practical and 40% written and had 3 industrial visit in thouree years and 3 internship in the 6 semester. And many better industries are coming to our college because of the exellence of the students and the department heads. Amd there is also 2 gov nstc exam which will give you one diploma and a post diploma certificate other than the degree certificate

About 75% of student a year who had passed out are placed in many companies. Everyear there is an industrial visit from our college and had an internship every each year.

I had opt this course because MES is the best college in ernakulam to give this course By the merit list i got the seat. It is a self financed course. When you got merit seat then you dont need have to pay the donation and there will be only sem fee

We have 6 lecturer and 1 lab assistant. Everyone are well educated and experienced. They have mba in logistics management and many are with the gov ccertified with high certification. And have industrial experiences regarding our studies and have done so many paper regarding the course

The main aspect that peak my interest towards this course was it's 60 to 40 percent carriculam were 60% theory and 40% theory and also we only need 14 marks for passing out of 40. The exam are conducted at the end of semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum had so many unnecessary subjects that had no connection with our courses like psychology, zoology etc. They could have avoided that. Jewellery Designing students also had to study advanced minerology . Which in my opinion was a bit unnecessary. Apart from that i learnt to improve my drawing and rendering skills. Learnt about new types and also the history of jewellery Designing. Tools and Machinery used.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Usually, in our coarse, we follow updated curriculum about food processing technology. We do also have food analysis on our practical classes 3 days per week. I have chosen this coarse because I believe that food processing technology era is growing drastically and we can see lots of opportunities in the same field itself. Improvement can be made in the curriculum, so that they can also include food laws , importance of food in india and world wide so that students will get to know more about the syllabus and food processing technology. The frequency of timing that we get inbetween the semester exams is about 4-5 months which is pretty enough to cover all the portions that they have taken and we can calmly prepare for our end semester and exams very well.
