IIT KANPUR is no doubt the dream college which one can imagine for in his/her life it allows one to explore evry possible field of his/her interest and it not only limits students to academics but also provides students with various other non academic cultural and sports activities which makes life at IIT KANPUR very much stress free and builts a very healthy environment in the campus in which one can work and acheive his/her dreams very easily

The course curriculum is very beautifully designed it helps one to explore the field to the core and allows one to go into the depth of the subject as well as the exams are also held in regular intervals of time so that one can test himself while the professors are often too helping and always willing to help those who want to learn and have a very deep knowledge of the subject as mostly they themselves are indulged in research work and they also allow students to join them in some sort of projects so that students can learn more and can get a better exposure of the field.The learning is not generally industrially oriented it is more of a research oriented and more focus is on teaching the subject to the core.

The placement of the college is one of the best in the country and the college is very famous for it. The placements are available for the students in the core as well as some of the coding companies which visit the campus. The core companies that visit include some of the large recruiters of the field while the college also tries its best to help the maximum number of stydents in getting their dream intern as well as their dream placement and plays the best role it can in helping the student to get to his/her dream.

The college celebrates a large number of events and festivals round the years some of the biggest of them are. The cultural fest "Antaragini": one of the biggest cultural fest in the country as well in the entire asia and is very famous for its grand events. The sports fest "udghosh": The biggest sports festival in the entire region and a large number of teams participate in the fest in order to win the exciting trophies and prizes and as well as show their skills and enjoy the fest. The technical fest "Techkriti": Biggest technical fest in the north India and one of the biggest in entire asia famous for having various coding competitions various workshops as well as exciting events like robowars and other technical stuffs and allows participants from various regions to show their skills and win the exciting prizes if they have the skills to.

On an average a student needs to pay around 1,25,000/- rs a semester while there are certain fee waivers as well depending on the annual income of the students parents while considering the facilities that are given to a student the fees isn't too high as it includes hostel,mess as well as medical fees and the one can pay the fees thourough credit card or net banking at the beginning of the semester. College is very transparent in the fee breakdown.

The college provides a large number of scholarship opportunities to the students who perform good in the academies as well as to those who are economically weaker like fee waivers are given to those who are economically weaker as well as scholarships are provided for students going for higher education as well.

The campus life at IIT KANPUR is among the one that one can ask for there are a large number of cultural competitions such as dance singing etc and there are clubs for cultural activities as well also regular wirkshops are organised as well and there are a large number of sports events as well one can pursue any sport that he/she wants to play as the campus provides opportunities to pursue any sports as well these are open to all. The technical thing is the speciality of the institute the clubs include electronics robotics programming and many more which hold workshops for various skills regularly as well as seniors are very helpful and various projects are also offered in order to help more in learning. The gender ratio of the girls:boys is 1:5 but there is no racism in the college based on gender and or any sort of religion. The students come from every corner of the country and are of various religion and speak various languages still live together in the campus very peacefully and there is a very healthy environment in the campus.

One needs to stay in the hostels only and you need to share room with one more person while the quality of rooms is very good and the room maintenance service is very nice as well and hostel environment is very nice as well.

The college seniors are very helpful and there are no cases of ragging and seniors help a lot in the academies as well as other stuffs and various clubs of the college are ran by the seniors of the college only and they also help one to know more about his/her field and make the college life of a junior much more easier. The aluminis continuously give donations to the college while the college is famous for its very vast alumini network as the college is among one of the very oldest college of the country so it has a very vast domestic as well as international network.

I got admission in the college by clearing the IIT-JEE exam which is a 2 step process first one needs to clear jee mains which held on 10/04/2019 then the second exam JEE Advanced which held on 20/05/2019 and i cleared both after studying rigorously for 3 consecutive years day and light and during my preparation journey i got the help from my school and coaching teachers who helped me in solving the doubts which i used to have while solving the problems and then i got the admission here after JOSSA counseling. I was having interest in doing research in the field of materials and minerials hence i joined this course at IIT KANPUR

The faculty of the college is very experienced and having a very depth knowledge of the subject as they are themselves indulged in some good research work. The number of lectures in course are around 54 while there are 5 courses in a semester generally so basically we learn a lot and also there are labs and other stuffs as well which helps in building the practical knowledgs of the stuff as well and they provide the best possible help they can while the student teacher ratio is also very good in the course as well as in the college. The lectures are not industry oriented rather the more focus is on developing the interest of students in the subject and the professors often try to make students aware about the various fields of the research.
