College review

It's a great place for studies and an overall personality development. You are acquitted with the best of faculty and resources to mould yourself for the future and add value to whatever you put your efforts and knowledge in.

There was semester system, internals and external. Enough break was provided between the two. The syllabus was efficiently divided for us to make it smooth and prepare effectively. The faculty is quite experienced and didn't just go by the scripted syllabus but also provided the practical insights, industry specific knowledge also which greatly helped us shaping ourselves for the placements and interviews. Industry visits were also a part of our curriculum both local and international which further enhanced our knowledge.

Graphic era has the placement records. Companies like Sage, Niit Ltd, Concentrix, Wipro came for the placements. I got selected for both the companies- Concentrix and NIIT Ltd, I joined Niit ltd, thereafter. The placement stats were great as most of my batchmates got shortlisted for Concentrix and the remaining ones also got selected in Wipro that came a little later for the placements. All the pep talk and important guidlines and information was provided beforehand by the faculty and they played a very supportive role while our campus drive.

Annual fests are organised and student management groups organise the entire fests and arranges celebrities, singers, artists to attend the fest and make it a great fun time for the students. Loads of other fun filled activities are also arranged for the students to participate in. Competition on both technical and artistic levels are organised to give the well deserved break to the students.

The fee structure is quite feasible. College provides transparency in the initial admission stage itself. Uniforms are also provided by the college but it's upto your choice. The payment procedure is also explained in the initial stage, I paid it in case to a specific bank.

I didn't opted for any scholarship. But the college does provide it the deserving candidates who fall under the criteria that is pr defined by the administration.

The campus life is great to be honest. It's quite flexible and lets you manage your studies accordingly. Gender ratio is quite appropriate. Strict rules against ragging or any sort of ill activities are at place. The faculty is open to discussion at any given point of time for everybody and no discrimination of any kind is tolerated.

College seniors are quite helpful as in sharing their placement experiences as well as their working experience. Also for the notes and study material, they were quite helpful and supportive.

The process was quite smooth and the administrative staff was very helpful thouroughout the process. I chose graphic era as it is the one of the best ranked colleges in Uttrakhand, the placement records and the whole student grooming is top notch, preparing us appropriately for the corporate world.

There is highly experienced faculty. Ranging from young to moderately old teachers. There were fixed 4-5 lectures a day and would also go further with some practical (IT) classes also. The faculty had the appropriate industry driven experience which they imparted to us to make us more aware about the industry we were going to step in. Last 15 minutes of the class were always for questions and answers and any doubt clearing sessions.
