Remarks

Management can be improved, when it comes to managing the students and giving them more facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Coruse Curriculum is good than many colleges in Chennai, Although their are some better colleges than ours in the city. If you are ambitious enough than you can also do research stuff and all. But we all know how engineering colleges are, So this one is also like that, If you study good for you. There is carrier development programmes as well which help at the time of placements. There are industrial visits organized now and then for students.

Placement Experience

3

Amazon, Cognizant etc companies have came for the placements. These companies need score as well as practical knowledge. To be frank around 50% students get placed roughly. There are pre placement programs to make the students ready for the placements.

College Events

3

There are some fests conducted in the month of March and April. All the departments have there own fests. There is technical and non technical parts inthe fests. Other colleges students also comes to participate and to roam around. Non technical part is fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is reasonable in our college as compared to other colleges. The fee details are on the college website. We have two mode of payments.Online and Offline. We have a bank right outside our college.Yes at the time of admission you can book your seat in advance by paying some amount.Yes their is transparency in the fee break down.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarships. But our do provide scholarships. There are many scholarships available like based on merit, sports etc.You have to go to the college website and check for the scholarship options.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is good. Gender ratio is also good. Our college is diverse. We do have sports competition and other extra curricular activities in the college. Labs are also up to date. But some labs are very old and some don't work also. Robotics lab is good and advanced.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, in the first year of my college, I choose the hostel. It was ok, not bad. Hostel rooms were good. There were 3 students in a room. Food is also not bad. In case of PG's there are many just around the college. They are also at reasonable prices.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni as such but the seniors are not bad. They are helpful and give you a good experience.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of 12th percentage. Admission process is quite simple, if you have written college entrance exam that is well and good. Otherwise one can take admission on 12th percentage also. Admission takes place from May onwards. To be frank I had other colleges also in mind at the time of admission, but this college had fitted in my style.

Faculty

3

The faculty is pretty friendly. If you treat them well, they will also treat us well. All are experienced faculty. Some are good and some not. Some teach well and some don't. Overall faculty is good. Some lectures are ok and give relevent industry knowledge but some are simply waste and outdated.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.
