Overall experience was amazing. Joining this college was worth the fee. I think the college should give a bit more stress on the development and betterment of hostel and co curricular activities.

Admissions were based on 12std score the college is a very reputed one in the city of Calcutta. Seniors and facilities drove me to join this college.

My curriculum was based on accountancy, financial management, taxation and audit. The course is wonderfully designed giving equal attention to every subject. I was also pursuing cost accountancy so this course was almost equal to the standards of the course.

College internship was full of practical knowledge, it was how we apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications. Reputed firms came for recruitment and offered a healthy stipend.

Lot of oil companies used to organise their campus recruitments and used to offer decent, good and challenging jobs in the finance and accounting line. Packages offered at that time was generally between Rs 1.5 lac per annum to Rs 3 lac.

The college frequently organised festivals for students our college's focus was mainly on technical festivals where students could get a new level of knowledge and ideas. Such festivals supported interaction between different students.

Fees was very feasible that time it was around Rs 10000-11000 per year which is very feasible taking into account that period of time. Tuition fee was around Rs 8000 and other fees including lab and other expenses amounted to Rs 3000.

There were scholarships offered for merit lists students belonging to weaker economic section of the society. One of my class mate belonged to that category and availed the same, he was exempted from payment of extra expenses and tuition fee and stay expenses were brought down to half.

Extra curricular activities were not so good the fact that we couldn't spend leisure time in campus we had a badminton court but the condition was not worth playing. There was a stress on music. College background was perfect sex ratio was optimal the hostel was only for boys and even the economic background was satisfactory.

Hostel facilities were satisfactory the fee they charges never matched their standards. I feel that hostel fees a bit expensive. Proper sanitation and electricity was lacking. There were other structural damages as well mess food was good, I think that we were the only college having such strict checking on food quality standards, food was worth the money. A variety of different foods were offered.

The alumni network was not so strong the college lacked attention in this field. Interaction with seniors was also minimum since there were separate buildings for each year students.

We had regular exams our college believed in frequent testing and examinations so that students are regular in their studies. This faith of our college helped the students in being concentrated and also the skill of completing tasks in time.

Very good experienced teachers who used intensive and new innovative methods to teach. Every concept was very well understood due to the teachers. Faculty is very important as we can find 2 people with the same qualification but the difference between two can be understood by their conceptual knowledge which can be imparted by such faculty.
