Remarks

The management is quite efficient. Everything is kept under strict surveillance. Discipline is properly maintained. Overall a great College for exposure and growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The CSE course consist of 8 semesters in total and 3 term exams, 2 lab practical tests and bunch of assignments per semester. Though the teachers emphasize more on projects than theory, the syllabus however is pretty extensive and often teacher fails to impart anything more than theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement was also one of the major reason of taking up this college. The placements are excellent when it comes to CSE students, it's more than 100%, which means some students even get more than one job offer. The average package goes upto 6-7 lpa. ECE has comparitively lower placement percentage but still it isn't any bad too.

College Events

4.5

The college has 2 big techno-cultural events every year namely converge for sector-128 and impressions for sector-62. Student from both the campuses can participate and enjoy both of these fests. Outsiders are not allowed unless they take part in any of the technical or cultural events. It also has various other technical events organised by the technical hubs of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fee including hostel fee is around 1 lakh 72 thousand which is a little expensive but since it's a private institution, one cannot question. Rupees 10k were taken as caution money at the starting of the course in first semester. The college accepts demand draft a, net banking, debit card payments. It also collects 700 rupees annually as JYC fees to organize different fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provides scholarship to the needy ones only. It's basis is parents income and not the students knowledge alone.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is too bad i.e 15:1. Both the campuses have super sports facilities. We have a number of hubs for different activities. Parola and eloquence as literally society handling debates, open mic, MUNs etc, Jhankaar, vamunique, bds for dance, crescendo for singing, Robotics, IEEE, rapid programming, cinematography, abhivyakti and many more. Ample number of societies to keep your college life happening round the year. We have a temple too in the college campus. All the students are from good families, most of them from upper middle class families.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are too small for two. It's a sharing type with two beds, two almirah and two study table and two uncomfortable iron chairs. The hostel fees is 62k. This includes facilities like mess(breakfast, lunch, dinner), gym, dispensary and swimming pool.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are like a gem. They're very helpful and interactive. They're always ready and happy to help.

Admission

The college has two branches, one in sector 62 and another in sector 128. The main campus is in sector 62. The admission criteria is JEE Mains rank. My rank was 67213 in year 2018, so i got admission in sector-128, cse. As JIIT comes in top 100 engineering colleges in India, has a nice location, and I was sure to get cse so I chose to get admission in it. We just have to mail them the required documents along with the application and attend the respective counseling to get admission. Detailed procedure is available on their official site.

Faculty

3

The teachers are all great in their domain but some may lack teaching skills. Number of teachers depends on number of subject each semester but it typically ranges from 4 to 7. Some teachers are really very proficient with certificates and job experience too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
