It's a pretty standard college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very up to date though that is mostly the university education. It's relevant, focuses on theory but with some practical also. On-campus placement is non existent as far as I know. But it will definitely help you to pursue higher studies if you want to do that in any University in India.
Placement Experience
Since this is a course focused on higher studies in this field, there are no placements or internship offfered by the college.
College Events
The college holds a huge freshers event to celebrate new people into their culture. There are also a yearly festival, along with saraswati puja celebration. Departments also hold a freshers if they want. The big college events have a lot of people going to them, when the departmentals are more cordial and unique.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. No additional charges has to be pai in order to secure an admission. The college provides transperancy in the form of a challan. The payment is mostly online though you have to submit an offline copy to the college.

The college offers scholarships and fees reduction if you meet a certain criteria which is to be economically weak.

Admission
Physics was a lifelong favourite of mine and VC was one of the more renowned colleges under cu. The admission procedure is as per with all the colleges under cu and admission is provided based on merit list of your hs marks. Keep your eyes out for admission notification given in the official website.
Faculty
There are 8 professors in my course,and all of them are doctorates in their own fields. Everyone of them is outstanding in their respective lectures providing a clear insight into the subject and conceptualization of the topic. The HOD runs the department smoothly and other lecturers help him.
