College review

College is good if you are in computer science branch or any other non-core branch as plenty of companies visit for placement. Management of college is good. It has no dress code as well. The 75% attendence is mandatory.

JECRC college is RTU affiliated college and all the examination is conducted by RTU(Rajasthan Technical University). College also conduct Mid Term test twice in a semester. Course Curriculum is according to the RTU syllabus.Mechanical courses run according to new industry standard. Mechanical engineering branch is NBA accredited.

Placement of mechanical branch is not good. Very less core companies visit the college for placement.Computer science and information technology branch has exceptionally good placement.

College organize a technical and cultural fest called Renessainse which is conducted every year.Its a 3-4 day fest which includes various technical and cultural events. Many artists from around the country come for they performance. At night dj party, fashion show,dance competition, etc are organised. Various blood camps are also organised.

Fees is according to the RTU i.e about 35,000 per semester. Fees is not expensive,it's feasible.Hostel fees is also feasible. No additional fees is charged.Development fees is charged as per RTU. So there is a transparent fees system in college. fees can be paid by cash or DD

College does not provide any special scholarship but you can avail loan by a bank. You can easily avail loan as the college is very famous in rajasthan.

Gender ratio is good in some branches like computer science, electronic and communication engineering, electrical engineering and information technology branch but core branch like mechanical engineering, civil engineering branch has very bad gender ratio. Robotics group is there which participates actively in different events across the country.various groups are also there for different cultural and technical activities.

Alumini network is not good but seniors are very helpful. You can get your query solved easily by your seniors.

I have got admission into jecrc by Jee main.i have opted this course as I had my interest in mechanical engineering. Admission is given only on the basis Jee Main score.It has different cutoff ifor different branches and maximum is for computer science.After the jee main exam counseling is done and candidates are required to fill their choices.This counseling has 4 - 5 steps. At last there is a spot round as well.

All the teachers have minimum qualification as M.Tech but most of the teachers are not that academically good. some teachers are exceptionally good.Classes are conducted on regularly basis. Most of the professor's are of young age. All the labs are fully acquainted with Mechanical software.
