PSIT is a place where student approaches for overall development in personality traits towards next level.

The course curriculum and exam structures are provided according to the guidelines of AKTU Lucknow University. These guidelines include the program outcomes of every branch. The guidelines lay emphasis on on practical implementation of studies, therefore students are required to do internships,projects etc.

The main event of PSIT is IGNITIA which is organized in the month of March- April. The students from various colleges also participate in this event. BTECH fees is 125800 per year, the payment is don electronic gateways such as net banking card payments, demand draft. For new students, cash can be collected but only for them. Institute provides AC Bus facilities to the students of Kanpur in range of 40 kilometres, fees is 36000 per year.

College helps the student to avail scholarship benefits fro UP STATE Scholarship program. the eligibility criteria are mentioned in the guidelines of the scholarship website.

Campus life is full of enthusiasm and extracurricular activities. The gender ratio is nearly equal and the students living in hostels live like family members in guidance of warden. Frequent workshops are organized in college as well as outside. There is strict disciplinary action regarding ragging, tolerance, politics etc.
