Overall this college is quite good. Placements are also upto the mark. But there are very few core companies for biotechnology students. Whereas tons of core companies for CS, ME, CIVIL, EC students. They should work on that.

Regular hands on labs which makes us more practical. Laboratories have all required equipments and instruments along with qualified lab technicians which provide a safe and more practical knowledge. Safety is a priority and hands on training gives students more chances and make them eligible for industries.

Placement opportunities are quite good. Many renown companies came like TCS, Vivo, Chimera Gentec, J Mitra, Amazon, etc. Stipends vary from 25-30k per month. Package is 3-8lacs p.a. Not much core job is available for Biotechnology students, but they are trying to provide core jobs to students either in job form or as internships. Sales and marketing companies are open for all. They also provide trainings for aptitude and coding so that students can clear exams of the companies. They also provide training for PI.

Normally techinical events are held in form of Tech-Fest. Cultural events are only held at time of Fresher party. Alumni meet is also held each year for the students who are pass outs, so that they can discuss their achievements and strategies to their juniors and show them a path to achieve success.

Feasible. Each year some amount is increased in fees. But your fee structure depends on the year you are enrolled and it continues for the rest of the years of your course. Usually at time of admission, that is, the first year we have to submit some extra amounts which include caution money and other fees. Caution money is refundable at time of degree distribution. Examination fees is included in the fees that has to be submit in the starting of odd sem.

Their is a scholarship for the students who are the toppers in the entrance examination of the college. And there is also scholarship for the students who have domicile of Uttar Pradesh and their father have private job with salary 3 lacs p.a.

They have labs, sports ground and other technical fests as their extracurricular activities. Labs are all well equipped with qualified lab technicians. Sports ground is there for cricket, football, there is also basketball court and a volleyball court. Techincal fests are organised for enjoyment as well as knowledge.

I am a day scholar. But still I can tell about the situation of hostels. As we all know how usually hostels are in India. NIET also has hostels for girls and boys separately. Mess food is not up to the mark. For exiting the campus a hosteller should get a signature from the warden stating the actual reason for not staying in hostel. And for daily purpose if someone is going outside then for girls it's 8 PM last entry and for boys it's 9 PM.

Every year we have alumni meet in our campus where our seniors who are pass outs from our college come and share their experiences and strategies for their success with us, and enlighten us with their achievements so that we also achieve success. During our course we are all connected with our seniors regarding jobs, companies, internships and placements. All seniors are very helpful.

I've got admission thourough management quota as I am a lateral entry student. I've studied diploma so for taking admission in bachelor degree I checked the labs and the academics, all were great. There is an entrance examination for entey into first year. The exam is UPSEE which is organised by AKTU, Lucknow. There is no criteria of interview.

Facilities are qualified and very supportive. They always help in making notes and provide us with all hard and soft copies of sources from where we can clear our doubts and make our notes. They are humble and joyful, making each class intersting and knowledgeable.
