Real experience of college life

College is so strict but overall its good. If you don't have any problem with rules then you must take admission in this college because it's really too strict.

This course is very carefully designed by RTU (Rajasthan technical university) which also involves courses for personalty development. It also involves some extra co- curricular activities. And mainly its has well instrumented lab which help students to apply their theory knowledge.

SKIT M&G COLLEGE, JAIPUR provides highest number of jobs percentage in jaipur. And because I am from mechanical engineering (ME) department, I will talk about package for mechanical engineers. As everyone knows that it's hard to get higher package for mechanical engineering but it's not true in SKIT COLLEGE, here average package of Mechanical engineering student is 5-6lacs per anum and I personally believe that if you are pursuing b.tech form any private college than it's hard to get packages like this much high. And now lets talk about internship so after completing 1st year i.e. second semester, college provide in-campus internship for students of 15 days and after 2nd year which after 4th semester, students have to finds internship by themselves for 45 days.

As in every college, this college also held events like HACATHON, TECHNOFEST, TECHNORION Robo-Wars and so many this all are technical events while when we talk about cultural events then the biggest festival which is celebrated in SKIT COLLEGE is PRAVAH which also involves AAVEG. Basically pravah is 6 days event celebrated once a year in month of February and AAVEG is sports event which is of 3 days held in fore days of pravah.

In colleges which are affiliated by RTU, the fees structure is decided by RTU itself and students can pay this few amount by check or by app which is named as "erp Skit". We have to pay extra fee for NBA accreditation and development fee. Now the total fee structure for mechanical engineering in SKIT is 47000 per semester and 90,000 approx per anum. Exam registration fee is not involved in this fee structure.

There is nothing I know about this. I haven't heard anything about this in my college yet. Hope they we'll start giving some scholarship soon.

We always notice that priorities are given to senior and most time they are girls who enjoy the priority and same in this college priorities are given to girls and then to seniors and then the remaining students. In mechanical engineering department there are total 7 girls in 180 students so. There is 1:10 girls in mechanical engineering department.

Hostel rooms are small in size but they gave well ventilation so that student don’t feel suffocation in their rooms. Warden is so supportive and hostel is very strict. If any student found guilty like drunk or smoking he/she is restricted and he have to leave hostel the same day.

The most strong parts of college is senior students because they are the key to new student to participate in any kinda activity.

I got admission by filling REAP Form. Reap is full formed as RAJASTHAN ENGINEERING ADMISSION PROGRAME. In this foms we have to show our 12th marks and jee mains score and according to course there are fixed criteria to get admission in SKIT COLLEGE.

In SKIT COLLEGE affiliated by RTU, one thing what I really proud of is its faculty. Here every faculty is desperated and dedicated to his/her teaching. Every teacher give proper attention to every student and helps him/her to build a better future. Every faculty provides his/ her personal contact no. and has given permission to student for call anytime (if it is regarding about studies).
