Remarks

College management is very good and supportive and work goes sequentially and smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is of 3 years divided into 6 semesters. The end semesters are held in December and April which is of 40 marks,30 marks are on practical while the other 30 is divided into 3 parts of which 15 marks midterm held in march and august comprises of 5 marks MCQ and 2 questions of 5marks each,10 marks are for assignment and 5 marks on attendance percent. We were taken for an educational tour to the botanical garden where we collected soil samples, calculated raunkiers frequency value. We have to carry research works in the 3rd year for CPE AND BSR etc. The exam structure is also good.

Placement Experience

4

There is no such placement for B.sc students. The vocational students studying CEMS, MICROBIOLOGY, ETC. Can only avail placement facility.

College Events

5

Annual day, sports day, holi Milan dance competition, women's day, shouravani mahotsav, teacher's day, college day, freshers day,Carmel feast, basketball, volleyball, handball tournaments, farewell, felicitation programmes, science fest.science fest is the best according to me where all the students of science from our college and various colleges can participate.it was held on 28th and 29th Feb this year on the occasion of national science day where model making, rangoli, short film, dance drama, etc. Were held which taught us a lot about the theme of women in science. The college day and sports day are other big events in which every student of the college has to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is expensive as it takes 37000+ for doing a b.sc with no placement opportunities. The college accepts fees in cash. The examination fee i.e 1350 is to be paid before every end semester examination. No, it doesn't provide much transparency to reduce fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers scholarships to students whose family income is below 2 lakhs per year. Therefore, I couldn't apply for it. Marks attained in the end semester and attendance is the qualifying criteria for the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Our college is a girl's college. Everyone here respects and helps each other on every basis. There are many workshops held regarding our subject which enrich our knowledge. The labs are well equipped with all the instruments. We have a separate research laboratory to carry out research works. There are many other activities held in our college inter and intradepartmental like debate, spelling competition, poster making, skit, etc. Each and every student has to participate in the competition held by one's own department.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were helpful and guided us well whenever we needed their help. They helped us in making our seminar reports by telling us every minute detail of it and in our practical records.

Admission

Admission is taken on the basis of the entrance exam which consists of MCQs from the 11th and 12th syllabus depending on the course you are choosing. The exam is taken at the end or mid of may. If one qualifies for the exam they are called to take admission there is also an interview for some courses. If you couldn't clear the exam you could wait for the second list or submit an application when asked for. The new session starts on the 2nd or 3rd of July.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties of the college have good knowledge about every topic in and out of the syllabus. They are very cooperative and helpful. They try to impart all the knowledge they have. There are smart classes, computer rooms, etc. There are 6 lecturers for our course with an average age of 45. The lecturers are highly qualified and have represented their research works at various places. We can have a doubt clearing class whenever we need.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. Teaching methods can also become more interactive by using more discussions, presentations, and real-life examples instead of only slide-based lectures. Regarding the exam system, the course follows a semester-based pattern. There are usually: Internal assessments like quizzes and assignments during the semester One end-semester exam at the end of each semester Exams are conducted twice a year, at the end of each semester. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If a student studies regularly and understands the concepts, clearing the exams is not very difficult. The questions are most
