Best College for Microbiology in Kolkata

This is the best college for Undergraduate Microbiology in Kolkata and surroundings.

I was being selected on the basis of Higher Secondary (PU II / Std XII) Board Examination Marks. Admission for was collected filled up and submitted along with the photocopy of mark sheet. According to the marks, college authority select the student name in descending order.

Course Curriculum was very well organized. College follows the Calcutta University Curriculum for UG Microbiology. It contains Basic Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Industrial Microbiology, Biotechnology and Laboratory based studies.

We did not have any internship program in our course curriculum as it was an undergraduate program. However, we were taken for industrial visits to sewage treatment plants and dairy.

This was just an undergraduate program hence there was no facility for placements and job opportunities. However, after passing out from this college you will have enough knowledge and can get chance for higher studies in premium institutes worldwide.

Various social and cultural programs including freshers, Fest, Annual Day, Teachers Day etc were well celebrated in college campus. All students can show their talents in these programs.

As it is a Government Sponsored College, the fee structure is feasible and students from mediocre family can also afford the fee structure. Laboratory maintenance fee is mainly taken from students and that too feasible.

I do not have any idea about this. I think the students who are going to take admission they can contact the admission office and the office people can give an insight about this topic.

Campus life is fun filled. You can freely roam inside the college without any fear. There is a library in side the campus which the students can utilise as their treasure.

College does not have their own hostel facilities. Outside students can stay in private hostel or PG. There is a canteen inside college campus where you get snacks tea at reasonable rate.

Alumni and senior students are really very helpful. They participate in college's annual function or social and they are well connected in Social Media groups.

Exam structure was based according to Calcutta University. Before the University exams, preliminary mock test was also carried out in college and whoever pass this exam are allowed for the board/university exams. Apart from this, regular class tests and surprise tests were also carried out.

Faculties of our college is really dedicated and they take care of each and every minute details. They teach each and every topics efficiently and helps to solve all kind of queries made by students.
