A journey of my 2nd home

Overall it was good,challenging and enjoying for me.

The course curriculum was good.My course, civil engineering generally consists of 5 to 6 subjects in every sem including 2 to 3 labs.The professors teaching our course were experienced about 10 to 30 years. They tought us good basics and skills required to face challenges.But most of the time you have to read more than what professors teach us to score a decent gpa. They will also provide a good industry specific knowledge which will be helpful in campus placements. Although we planned industrial tours in 2nd year it was a failure.

The internships start at 2nd year of btech, although internships were more in btech 3rd year.the various companies that visited our campus were lnt, hpcl, iocl, data beat, Nerolac.cntrl s data centre, afcons, lnt limited, tata steels,kec international etc. The institution takes special steps in case of sc, st students gives them proper placement tips at the end of 3rd year during holidays. About 70 to 80% of students gets placed every year in whole campus. whereas in my branch about 60 to 70% of students gets placed.The procedure that most of the companies follow for placement is Round 1. online aptitude round Round 2. Group discussion Round 3. Personal interview Round 4. hour interview

Technozion was one of the south indian biggest annual technical fest celebrated in India where thousands of people from different colleges gather to compete and showcase their talents. Spring spree was also similar to technozion despite it is cultural event. One of the event I conducted during technozion was hovermania, a boat which travels on both land and water. About 50 people were participated in the event. Where the persons satisfying 3 rounds will be the winner.The event consists of 3 winners which win a prize money of 1 lakh rupees.

The tution for btech for 1sem was 62500. It was paid thourough state bank of india. The additional fee we generally pay are caution deposit money at the first year during admission which they will return after 4years.For those whose income is less than 1lakh they need not pay any fee. Whose income varies between 1 to 5lakh they have to pay 2/3 rd of total fee.and those income above 5 lakhs has to pay full fee.

No.The college offers some scholarship opportunities to students such as merit and national scholarship etc.

There were 40 girls out of 120 students in my branch. The campus life was very chillling such that you study one night before the exams.There were elections in which you won't be sleeping that night if you are interested in politics.The two(mostly ) opposition parties start campaigning 1month before.

Yes, I opted for hostel. I the first we were given 2seater room in 1.8k hostel which means it can accommodate 1800people. In the 2nd year we were give old blocks of 3seater and in 3rd and final year we were given single seater.The maintenance fees was 4200 per sem and water charges were 1000 electrical chourages was 1000 etc.

Alumni helps students in the form of club donations, constructing buildings, donating vehicles etc.

I got the admission in this college thourough AIEEE which was later called JEE MAINS,India's one of the toughest exam. I scored a rank of 8757 with 152 marks to which I got civil engineering in national institute of technology warangal. I didn't opt for this course, rather I say I got this branch based on my rank.But after I got into this branch I liked it.After confirming your seat in the college, the admission process includes verification of certificates, candidates presense and signatures,payment of hostel and tution fee etc. I choose this institution because it was ranked in top 2nd among nit's and was in my state,Telangana. First you need to submit your 10th,inter original certificates and get verified.After getting verified you will be given a slip in which you have go to computer science and engineering department.In there they will confirm your seat and verify the fees you paid, which will get registration of your Btech 1st year, 1st sem done.

Approximately 20 to 30 lecturers were there in civil engineering course.The average age was about 40, and the all professors hold phd degree.All the lecturers teaching were from prestigious institutes across india like IITS AND NITS. They have connections aross the world and each of them had published number of papers.
