Course Curriculum Overview
It wasn't a research-driven structure, it's all based on books and lectures. It's a thouree year course of 6 semesters. The syllabus of the course is little bit old, so it won't help us much in the industry. The students has to improve themselves to make results in interviews.
Placement Experience
Wipro is the only company conducted recruitment drive in the campus. Their recruitment process includes the following: - aptitude test - group discussion - technical interview - hour interview Roughly around 10% of the total students are being placed from the college.
College Events
There are many events being celebrated in the college campus. Some of them are listed below. Freshers Day Union Day Arts Fest Sports meet Alumni meet College Day Magazine inauguration In addition to these, several other events are being conducted under various departments
Fee Structure And Facilities
During my batch the semester fee was 7500 rupees. I think, it was feasible for such courses. The fee structure was transparent as per the instructions of government. The college is collecting some charges I addition to the semester fee towards the Union fee and association fee, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college isn't providing any scholarship or loans. But the government is providing some scholarships for financially backward students and girls.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in college was almost 1:1. There was no any kind of discriminations inside the campus, whether it is gender, religion, caste,etc. In this case the management kept the standards well and maintained the campus in equality to keep humanitarian means
Alumni/Alumna
The college senior were awesome. They shown us the path to goodness by walking in front. And the college conducts alumni meets annually
Admission
I was very enthusiastic to the computer programming, that's why elected this course. This college was the only institution providing this course nearby me. So didn't have think twice to decide the college. The admission procedure was simple, the students have to fill in the application provided from the office along with the higher secondary mark lists.
Faculty
Since most of the lecturers were beginners, it was bit difficult for the students to catch the lectures. Students has to depend mostly on internet and library than the lectures to prepare for exams. And most of the leacturers are following the spoon feeding mechanism in teaching.
