College review

ABES ENGINEERING COLLEGE, I have spent 4 years of my life which I think are equally good and bad but the college is good except for the fee structure and some faculty of the college, otherwise the college is a decent one considering a private college as it has good canteen, ground, library and afterall not good but satisfying faculty and staff.

Course curriculum and Exam structure of AKTU is not that relevant and it does not offer you the potential to develop your skills and also not that good to strngthen your skills. It is ok in terms of course curriculum and exam structure but it is not research driven but exam pattern is fair. It incorporates some skills like how to do good in less time and with less supplies. The exam structure of the Aktu and college puts extra burden on the shoulders of the student, it is very hectic. It should not be preferred.

The placement of the college as per AKTU is very good but not as good as an IIT as it is a private institute of state level. Average placement of the college is around 3 to 4 lakhs for a CS and IT branch student but that is not the case for other branches like EEE, ME, CE, EC. Their average is around 1.8 lakhs per annum wgich is not very good.TThe CS and IT students placement is upto 85% but for other branches it is less than 50%. Internship from college is not good but the students themselves have to search for openings iv various institutions for internships.

ABES ENGINEERING COLLEGE has an annual fest GENERO which is a 3 day fest in which the first day is about various events performed by the participants of the students of the Abes college along with other colleges and there are also some technical events that takes place on the first and second day. On second day there is DJ night where students can register themselves to enjoy the event and also on the final day of the event some celebrities are invited to perform as the final performance of GENERO.

Fee structure of the college is a bit more expensive and it is not feasible for an ordinary student to take admission in any course in this is college. It provides transparency in fee breakdown but the fee is expensive as compared to some other colleges and in next few years it will be much more expensive.

I have not opted for any scholarships as I was not eligible for any scholarship from the government so I have never applied for scholarship. But Yes the college offer scholarship to the students who are eligible for the scholarship but it is provided by government via AKTU, the top body in Uttar Pradesh for Engineering Colleges.

The campus life was good, I have enjoyed every bit of it. The college has canteens and college ground for students along with a library where students can enjoy eeading and writing without disturbance. And the ground has floodlights that provide an opportunity to enjoy sports at night also. And for me the canteen of the college was best.

I have not opted for hostel but the college hostel is less expensive than some other colleges but I do not remember th exact hostel fee. And also I cannot tell you about the facilities provided by the college to the students in the hostel and how is the mess as I do know nothing about these things.

Alumini network of ABES college is good, they are helpful if you want help from them but not all of them are equally as good. Rightnow I am also an alumini of ABES college and I think the network is good and any student can take help from the alumini of the college.

I opted for B.tech as, didn't want to go for other graduation courses and in that Electrical and Electronics Engineering as I love electrical works and also I hate Mechanical and civil as I barely understand the concepts of Mechanics. I got in this institution thourough Entrance Exams of Uttar Pradesh and during counseling I have opted for particular branch mainly and I got what I wanted in this Institute tht is Electrical engineering so I haven't considered other Institute.

The faculty of the college is Ok not bad, not good. The college has some very good faculty that helps the students to understand their potential and explore the opportunities as per their capabilities but others are not that good and only lead to a dark future for the students as they do not clear the concepts to the students and do not help them when asked and some of them are not good at their subjects which they have to teach.
