Remarks

Nobody can give bad remarks about the college. Since it's beginning it is one of the best colleges in Tamilnadu.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Medical Council of India (MCI) is the authority responsible for prescribing the MBBS syllabus. Under MBBS course, which is for five and a half years, candidates will have to complete one-year mandatory rotational internship. The entire MBBS syllabus has been divided into a total of nine semesters. These nine semesters will be carried over a period of 6 months. There will be an approximate of 120 teaching days in each semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college is situated in outside of Perundurai city, which is an taluk of Erode district. Since it is a special hospital for Respiratory infections, it is placed in a high altitude and with hight temperature which is very necessary to kill tuberculosis bacteria and other bacteria that are released from patients during coughing and sneezing.

College Events

3

Culturals celebrated every year in the end of September or in the beginning of October which is the most enjoyable moments in our college, Tamil Mandram function is a function for celebrating our language during every Tamil Newyear, New year celebration on December 31, Pongal Celebration on every year before Pongal holidays, Hostel Day, Farewell for the CRRI Students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually the fees are a bit expensive, but the quality of teaching justify the fees that you pay. We pay around 4 lakhs for the tuition fees alone and hostel fees include around 80000 per annum, so almost it would be around 500000 for an annum to do MBBS here, which I would say low when compared to other private medical colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, The college offers scholarships for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Class and Backward class people's students. They assist you in paying the fees. If you are a first graduate then, the government itself will pay the half of your annual fee. So you can pay only the remaining fees.

Campus Life

4

Campus is so good with all the flora, and since it is located outside the city, the silence is the most enjoyable thing there. You don't realize that when you're there. Once you go back to home, you'll feel, it'll be good if i were there. Such an silent place.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I'm a hosteller. Since I'm from a distant city, I can't come and go regularly thourough bus and since the hostel is so good now, we can easily opt for hostel with good food, and we can read without any stress or thoughts about the food that day. So, I'd personally say Hostel is the best

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, They'll provide improvements to the college they have studied. A couple of months before, 1993 batch students came and offered the college a pair of computers and some extra things too

Admission

Medicine offers such a mix. I wanted something where I could talk to a huge range of people, be challenged to leave my ‘comfort zone’ and be humbled by what I saw. I also wanted a dynamic job that changed and improved over time, where ‘cutting-edge’ scientific innovation has a practical application in ‘real-life’ problem solving. As far as I could see, no other career offered this variety. But Medicine did.

Faculty

5

As you’ll probably know from experience, every teacher approaches the job differently. There are teachers who run their classrooms like a tight ship. Meanwhile, others prefer a more unstructured approach where students can explore their creativity. There are definitely pros and cons to each.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
