RR college review

Most part of our college is good except few points like canteen is not properly maintained.Canteen and hostel food which are supplied should be monitored for quality.One of the main concern is to appoint a Physical education teacher or a coach.Our college teams prepare on their own without expert guidance.

College follows vtu syallabus and exams are conducted by vtu.Vtu syallabus is tad old so you have to take other online courses to get placed.Students have to write 3 internals, average of those is considered as internals for 30+10 assignment marks given by teacher.then you have to write 100 in final sem exam which will we reduced to 60.This college is not so popular for their reasearch.They have few free courses to makke us better professional other than that you have to work on your own.

If you enter the college there is a huge poster regarding lists of companies visiting which is not 100per accurate.Few companies do enter but due to lack of soft skills in students only 25 to 40 per students get placed in jobs.In Mechanical and civil engineering department there only few core branches visiting them.

RR college is not known for cultural activities.There are few activities in the even sem for a week before college fest.Few events include cooking without fire, group song,solo singing,group dance,mr and mrs RR.There also fests organised by corresponding departments.CSE branch organizes 2 fests a academic year.

It varies according to individual income rates.For 1st year the fees is maximum for both college and hostel.Then the fees decreases every year by approximately 5k(subjected to change according circumstances). But if you pay once for college then you need not to pay for lab records or coats as everything is included.

No I haven't taken any scholarships.Also I haven't opted for any education loan.But scholarships are generally provided based on the religion or income certificate provided by the IT department of India.

Female ratio is more in computer and IS branches but is reverse in mechanical and civil departments.Student committe is yet to be formed.There is a zero tolerance towards gender, equality, religious, political and economic status.If you complaint to necessary authorities they will take required action.

To an extent only few are helpful.I met with a college senior who gave me insights about the subjects which are on the tougher side and how to crack them.They also helped me in choosing profession by stating they industry experiences with juniors.

I wrote Karnataka cet in the month of April 2019.Then you will have 3 rounds of cet counseling.In these 3 rounds you can any college via a priority list specified by you and scheme.After every round you have a option to forefeit your cet if you get seats in a better college thourough other exams.But I suggest you to wait till 3 round as if your selected to a lower priority college in 1st round then as many students forefeit their seats for neet,private exams so you can have a chanceget to your higher priority colleges in last round.

Only few faculty speak well versed English.All the teachers have skills to teach in a engineering classes but some lack in communication or presentation skills which makes us hard to follow.You have to go thourough the syallabus before you attend colleges.I don't know about the average age. Every once a year they hold certification or industrial visit except in 1st year.
