Firstly, let's talk about the good remarks about the management of the college. They really help us a lot in grooming ourselves. We can participate in any kind of competitions, workshops, etc. in which we want and just inform the college management about that. They support a lot throughout your competition. Our suggestions are always invited by them and changements are made if the suggestion is valuable. The bad things is that 90% attendance criteria which we think is a bad remark but actually it helps us in getting professional and makes us ready for the corporate world.

Basically PSIT being affiliated to AKTU has to follow the Curriculum designed by AKTU but the college management makes every possible effort in providing various kinds of training for grooming the students. The Curriculum is designed as such that it balances both practical and theoretical knowledge. Technical training is organised for students as we enter the 3rd year of the course which are very helpful in securing the campus placements. Also, English training is given to us during the 1st and 2nd year of the course for making us ready for the industry. Various industrial visits are organised by the college but as we know CSE isn't a core branch so less number of visits are organised as compared to other branches.

The placement portfolio of PSIT is unfolding yet another event of glory and pride and is conspicuous by its outstanding placement records year after year which would undoubtedly motivate us to carve a niche for ourselves in the professional sphere. PSIT has again given a record placement of 382 selection in Infosys, 226 in Capgemini, 219 in TCS, 112 in Wipro, 42 in Justdial, 36 in Reliance, 33 in Cognizant, and 26 in IBM just to name a few. PSIT has best placements among all the AKTU colleges with 1480 selection with offers ranging from 3.5 LPA to 26 LPA. The highest package this year is of 26 LPA offered by AMAZON. The college takes various initiatives for providing us the best trainings for the placement drives. Thr process of getting placed in a recruitment drive starts with an OLT followed by some competitive rounds which are different from company to company and at last an interview is conducted. The college manages each and every placement drive conducted in the college very efficiently.

Talking about the events celebrated in the college, let's start with the most popular event organised annually mostly in the month of February known as 'Ignitia'. It is a two days fest in which one gets enough time to enjoy with your classmates. Various other events are organised which mostly depends on the time which we can give to those events as studies are given the topmost priority than the events. Various seminars, conferences, and competitions are organised for the students and faculties also which are highly beneficial for us. The college also gives permission to you to organise a event of your choice or manage it. The suggestions for the events are always invited by the management of the college.

PSIT is now NBA Accredited in its most popular courses i.e., Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communications Engineering. The institute provides the best facilities to its students so that the student can excel in the field. The fees charged to us is less as compared to other private colleges however you are invited to give a fine in case of any indisciplinary action of yours. For a CSE student, the fees charged is Rs. 1,45,800/- with includes Rs. 5000/- security deposit refundable after the course completion. Additional fees is charged for Hostel or the Bus facility provided by the college to ferry students and faculty from their to college and vice-versa. For availing hostel facility, a student is charged Rs. 70000/- to Rs. 85000/- depending on the choice made by you. For availing bus facility, a student is charged Rs. 36000/-. Talking about the transport facility of the college, it has a fleet of over 30 air conditioned buses. You don't need to pay any extra fees for securing the admission in the college which is the best part about it. The college provides complete transparency in the fee-breakdown. The fees can be paid by any mode of payment. The college has a dedicated SBI Bank with multiple ATMs to help one and all.

Talking about the scholarships, the college provides it to many students on the basis of merit. For availing the scholarship from the institute you need to apply for it at the time of taking the admission. The documents need to be submitted as proof of qualifying the scholarship criteria. An education loan can also be taken by the students provided by the bank if the need arises. It can be availed easily by submitting certain documents with the help of college management.

Talking about the gender ratio of the college it is difficult to give the ratio here but can tell you that number of boys are more as compared to the number of girls in the college. Further, about campus life, it is quite good. You get ample amount of time to hang out with friends within the campus at the canteen or at Nescafe point. Outings are provided to the hostellers on weekends which are time restricted. Day Scholars are free to enjoy the weekends. The institute has student centric policies which encourage us to perform better in every field. PSIT has more than 1000 computers installed in its various laboratories for the students to work on. Labs are well equipped with the instruments. Taking about extracurricular activities, they are organised by the students itself after the college hours or on weekends. Sports competition is organised once in a year by the college on Children's day. Various other competitions are regularly organised by the various clubs of the college for entertaining us and also by providing knowledge to us.

As we know networking is very important in any professional course you do. So here also we gain various kinds of experiences from our seniors and the alumni of the college. We get time to interact with our seniors during the breaks provided in between the lecture, or after college hours. If you are a day scholar, you can easily interact with your senior while coming to college and going back to home. While hostellers can interact whenever they want by visiting them or getting gathered at any place. Interaction with the alumni network is not that easy as that with seniors. A few students get the opportunity to interact with the alumni network.

Talking about me, I am a student of B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from PSIT. The facilities and infrastructure of the college are the two main factors which made me choose this institution from my graduation. The admission process here is quite simple. They are of two kinds i.e, merit-based or in management quota. The best thing is that they don't charge any extra fees for taking admission in management quota. For admission on merit basis, counselling is conducted followed by the verification of documents which further leads to booking your seat in the college.

The number of lecturers in the CSE course in PSIT is over 55. Talking about their qualification, they all the at least Masters in Technology (M. Tech.) and some of them have done PhD also many are pursuing PhD side by side. As we all know every teacher can't teach every subject. There are some subjects which can be taught by the teacher in which they excel because excelling in all the subjects is a tough task. On the basis of the expertise of the lecturers, the subjects are allotted and training are provided by the senior faculty and then they are given the opportunity to take the class which is regularly monitored by the management and take necessary decisions for the betterment of ours. The lectures taken by the professors are nice and give a depth knowledge in the subject. They make every possible effort in making the concept clear. They provide the various industry based experiences. They are really hard-working and most importantly are very co-operative, always ready to help in some or the other way.
