The B.Pharm course is regulated by Pharmacy council of India. Our college runs under the cirriculum of Kerala University of Health and Sciences. The course is semester based.with 8 semester in four years. B.pharm constitutes of 24 subjects. Each semester constitutes of two internal exams and a university exam of both theory and practical

Placement Experience

Placement, job opportunities and interviews takes place by final year of B.pharm. Internships are provided only for Final year students of PharmD.The internship for PharmD final year students are provided by the KMCT hospital

Fees structure is feasible. the tuition fee is Rs 85000 per annum. Admission fee 2000. Statutory bodies Rs 10000 per annum. Stationary Rs 5000 per annum,Medical Check up,vaccination and health insurance premium Rs4500 per annum,caution deposit Rs10000, Project fees 10000, university affliation fees Rs 3605

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided under the kerela government and kerala university of health and science. the studentship program by Kerala university of Health and Sciences provides financial support for merit students with lower income

I was a medical aspirant.and B.pharm deals with drugs,its chemistry,manufacturing of the drugs etc. which was my point of intrest. I got admission in this college via KEAM merit list for pharmacy. Biology,chemistry,physics and mathematics exams should be attended

Placement Experience:

Amrita offers a good placement opportunities with different pharmaceutical companies like Cipla,Sun Pharma,etc. Eight semester students are eligible for campus placements. Cipla, Johnson and Johnson,Sun Pharma, Dr.Reddy,etc. I think the highest package was about 3,00,000/- per annum. 100% placement will be provided. I am aiming for further studies.

I choose this course because i like the chemical aspects and studies of drugs.the syllabus is pretty hard because of the frequent examinations.we have two internals and its university exams in just 6 month of time.so feels like very rush.but the syllabus is very vast.faculty could actually improve their method of teachings.

Remarks:

KVM College of Pharmacy has good infrastructure, built up in 1 acre. College provide transportation facility for its students coming from various locations. Those wheel transportation has to pay an additional fee. College has a library which has capacity of 100 students at a time. Library has subscription of various national and international journals. College also has a medical garden which is helpful for students during the practicals.
