Research labs

By looking all the field, in my college there is opportunity for students who really wants to work in their field. So my college is good enough and it is justify the college fee.

Yes this college have almost all branch oriented research labs and also the DIC labs which are working ongoing projects and also here new ideas are most welcome,and there are different types of competition held by regular basis like hackthon, and workshops for different student development programme, I have come across different programme that leads to really helpfull or the making off your profile intresting. Also there are some of the MhourD founded projects are going on. Under DIC lab there are projects like drone and boom barrier for keeping eye in the incoming and outgoing vehicle in panjab university.

In our college there is group or community who works for the increasing the placement opportunity for the students. Training placement cell (TPC) whose responsibility to provide the placement available to all students, but also having some of basic cgpa for sitting in placement.

In our college different type of events like sports events, cultural, technical fest and so on. Umang is the sports fest which consists of different sports like football, Circket, basketball, volleyball. Goonj is the cultural fest which includes different dance, and technical programme, star night, edm night etc.

The fee structure is feasible, but fee is increased by 10 percente every year, which can be a problem for some students. But students who are economically weaker section, can take benefit form the scholarship. There are also "earn while learn", project under which students can earn upto 4000 permonth by working in library AC josy. By department many concessions are given to the weaker section students in fee. EWS category students pay a very less amount of fee this is very helpful for them.

No i did opt for the scholarship or educational loan, but a student can get the educational loan easily, he has to do some of the formalities for getting it. In our college there is a branch of sbi bank, and they are very helpfull in nature and feel free to ask any time during working hours. You have to submit income certificate of your family and marks certificate, and some of the HOD signs and you educational loan is sanctioned within 3 week.

As we know that in engineering college the gender ratio not so good, in my class there are 40 students out of which there are only 7 girls. But in cse branch there is good gender ratio. Different types of people came across the country. There is no discrimination on the basis of gender, in my college equal opportunity is provided to the All students according to there capabilities.

Yes i opt for the hostel, as there are limited seats in the hostel for the uiet department. So at the time of admission the hostel seats are alloted on the basis of merit list and also category wise seats are there in the hostel. So some of the students are not able to get the seats in hostel. There are PG in sector 15, 35,38 for the students. The PG in sector 15 are expensive, as sector 15 is next to the panjab university sector 14 also near to uiet college. But there are also PG for the students in sector 35,38 whose rent is not so much high and also there are good facilities in PG. In the hostel two students love together and two bed one table two chair provided two almirah alos there in the room.

As i mention before there is a TPC group whose is responsible for the Maintaining the good relation in between the college and there alumni. So yes my college have good alumni network. TPC arrange the meetings with alumni on the regular basis.

I OPT FOR THIS COURSE BY MY CHOICE AND DUE TO SOME FUTURE REFERENCE ALSO, I OPT FOR THIS INSTITUTE BECAUSE I AM UNBALE TO GET BETTER COLLEGE THAN UIET WITH MY PREFERENCE OF EEE, 2ND THING IS THAT THIS IS AFFILIATED WITH PANJAB UNIVERSITY WHICH ALSO LEADS TO GRAB ATTENTION TOWARDS THIS COLLEGE.

We have different types of groups jn college which work for the students and we can get know about the different programme and found for the development of students and like educational trip for practicle knowledge. There is also department representative who represents students needs in official meetings and raise voice on behalf off students for any partial decision. Also we have a student council for taking care of student need in all departments of the panjab university.
