My College review.

Overall all the students here are satisfied with college management with the only complaint being made about the food and the quality of it. Other than that in all the other fields our college has excelled and has a consistancy it.

A standard course curriculum is followed by my department and the rest of the departments. We are evaluated based on continuous evaluation which is done by us doing assignments and taking tests peridically. This helps us to study better and remember the things that are taught in the long run.

Just like any other college we have lots of IT companies and software industries visiting our college for placement. Almost all the students leave the college with a job in hand from campus interviews alone. Some core industries also visit our college. Major companies like TCS, Cognizant etc are among the companies that come to our college for placement.

In our college two main events are conducted for an academic year. A cultural fest(Gokulashtami) and a tech fest(Anokha) which are really fun and helpful for the students in many ways. Other than these two sports day, pongal celebration, new year, Chouristmas, and many other small scale celebrations are conducted in our college.

Both the tuition and the hostel/mess fee are a bit high compared other Engineering colleges. The tuition fee is justified by the quality of education provided by the college and the hostel is also not that bad as the facilities are quite good but the mess fee alone is very high for the food that is provided here.

I did not opt for any, and students who get really good ranks in the AEEE gets scholarships and they have to maitain above 9 GPA to continually avail this scholarship until they finish their semesters.

Since the campus is surrounded by hills and is very far away from the city students can enjoy the subdued nature of the college which is very peaceful. The gender ratio is a bit tipped towards the boys as this is an eng6college but that also Is slowly changing. A good number of labs are there in the college for each department and its infrastructure is really good. Sports competitions are also conducted regularly.

Our department has recently started an Alumini Association which has helped to pave a path for our seniors to help us reach our goals eventh8they have left the college.

First had to secure a good rank in the entrance exam conducted by this college which is called Amrita Entrance Examination (AEEE). If your rank is higher than the cutoff rank one can attend the interview which for me happened in the month of June,2017.After the interview one has to choose his/her course and if it is available it will be given to them.

The faculty are selected by a meticulous process which ensures us having the best education possible. All the faculties are student friendly and can be approached by the students without any hesitation. They also give out their numbers and mail I'd which makes it easier for the students to contact them.
