The Vijaya college

college looks pretty good from outside but their are lot of fights within studnets and even the quality of students is worst. Mangement ia not even worried about anything there is no attendance cutoff even if anyone has 0% attendance they would get hall ticket.

the syllabus is decides by The Bangalore University and the syllabus looks pretty old and out dated even the examples quoted in the books are atleast 50-60years old, so one cannot learn much from this, curriculum doesnt gives much idea about industry all of those are outdated.yes there was a industrial visit to a wine factory in 3 years of BBA

there were hardly any company that came for placememt except some BPO's and capegemini was one of them. usually the process if Group discussion and then personal interview hardly 2-3% students get placed. there are no steps taken by the college in placement season.

events like mahabharath(intercollege management competition), sports day, blood camp, and few competitions on debate. usually participation is very low in all of these as there is no scope from college for all these and even when the fest are conducted they are not even bothered to inform the students about this only selected students get the information

annual fees was 42500 in the first year, 44500 in the second yeara and 47500 in the third year of the course, if your 12th score is below 55% then they may demand for donation. one can pay fees in the syndicate bank which is near the college in form of DD, college doesnt accept any payment all the monetory transaction are with help of syndicate bank.

as it is a aided college there are scholarship provided by various forms, one can collect application from college and fill it, later submit the same in college, scholarship were given to the students who were economically weaker and for SC/ST fees is lower than others, scolarship amount was around ?20,000

Gender ratio are 60male :40 female, Campus life in this college is pretty below average, even the extracurricular activities are also not soo good, labs are not for BBA even if there is requirement, sports scope here is almost to the level of nil, theres no intolerance in the college wll are treated well overall its a pretty average college.

Hostel facilities are not available for boys, there is very few seats for girls, its sharing of 3 peoples. you can go for PG, average cost of PG here would be 7000-8000 per month. the food quality is low and only the minimum standards are met in order to run the hostel

there is no alumni network and the college is not even bothered to have it, seniors never come in contact with juniors

this institution is here from a long time and it has a good name in the society as an educational institution as well i wanted to get into commerce field earlier i was studying in science so BBA was only option as to take commerce one should have taken economics and accounts in 12th. To get admission into BBA only requirement is that your score in 12th has to be above 55%. one can collect form from college which is ?100 and same can be filled and submitted to college, they will have selection list once they get application in 4rounds.

for BBA there are 7-8 faculty who also take classea for B.Com most of them are in their earlier 40's and hold masters degree. they are good lecturers who hold good knowledge about the subject due to their experience. none of them hold any industry-experience or certification
