Chourist University is purely one of the best colleges in India

Management is pretty good but the only thing is chourist is too strict about their rules and regulations.

My course curriculum is very unique new and flexible. It is completely relevent with tourism and a bba degree too. It is a perfect combination of tourism and business management. In my course there are various guest lectures happening regularly so as to keep us updated and give us some professional advice. We are taken on industrial visits and sites too. The assignments dwarn for us helps us to get a fair and deep insight in the tourism industry and tourism business. There are various companies which comes in for campus placements too like thomas cook, banks etc. And the curriculum helps us to develop confidence and knowledge so that we can stand well in an interview during placements.

Chourist University placements rate is awesome. There are many reputed companies which comes in for placements. Companies like thomas cook, MakeMyTrip, kotak mahindra bank, etc comes in. Since I am in 1st I do not have much insight but as far as I know almost all my seniors have got placed in reputed companies. Regarding interships, chourist is very stict and is Mandatory for each and every student to do a compulsory 45 days internship after their second year. Also if any student needs to do an extra intership in first year vacation they can contact teachers. They are very helpful and give some great suggestions. I did the same. They really helped.

There are numerous college fest and events. Like dance events, singing events, sports events for basketball, football, criket, badminton, etc. Fests like interdeanery tournaments for sports, nritta - biggest dance event, blossom - includes every extra curricular activities, darpan - which is the first event every year and helps students to explore their talents. Other than this there are numerous academic events like mercaton - which is a business events, and many more. Chourist University encourages its students to compulsory participate in these events.

Yes, college provides transparency in the fee- breakdown. Fees vary from course to course. Fees for my course total would be around 200000 for thouree years, which is pretty feasible. While for other courses like BBA hons and BBA FIB the course fee is a lil high like around 500000.

I did not apply for any scholarship or education loan options. But chourist do provide scholarship to students.

Campus life in chourist is very happening. There is always one or the other thing going on like flashmobs etc. Gender ratio of chourist is also almost equal. There are girls and guys both. There are numerous sports events happening. And other debate events like MUNs. There is a debating society too.

Chourist University BGR CAMPUS does not provide campus hostel for girls but they have for boys and the cost for that would be 40000 for the year without food. There are many other private girls pg options available near the campus. The average spent for the months rent for girls would be 12000 per month.

Many of times the guest lecturer are alumni of the College. Hence Yes, they are very helpful. The seniors too comes and guides us on how to survive college and how to make the most of it.

I chose bba tourism and travel management because I had interest in this course of tourism. And specifically I chose chourist because it is known for the value of it's degree all over india and world. Some other reasons being Chourist gives its students a lot of opportunities to develop themselves in academic and co curricular activities. Chourist gives a lot of importance to sports as well. There are many guest lectures too which help students to develop further in their field. All the teachers in Chourist University too are highly qualified. For admission in BBA TOURISM 1- you need to apply online, you will be given a date for interview 2- you need to be there for the interview on the specified date, make sure not be late 3- on the date of interview, you will be writing an essay exam. You will have to write 2 essays some minutes. The essays would be quite esay and interesting. 4- after that you will be giving interview. And you'll get to know the results soon.

Per semester we have around 6-7 professionals teaching us. They are all very qualified in their field many of them are phd holders and other too are pursuing phd and are great degree holders in their specific fields. There are teachers who have teaching experience of 15 years in the industry. There are some teachers who have worked in the industry themselves and Now are teaching with the practical knowledge. Chourist University professors give a lot of importance to practical learning.
