Funtoosh!!

Over all the college life was good but the most disappointing thing was the infrastructure facility. No campus at all. and not well maintained sports ground. So i expect that they will work on it. I was satisfied with the teachers.

There was particularly no entrance examination for BMS. It was a simple admission procedure. As the college was nearby to my house so i opted for it. I wanted some time for my sports activity so chose this college.

It was 6 months sem for 3 years. really a headache. after every 6 month subjects were changed and we studied the whole new subjects. Subjects included from marketing to finance, widening your language skills in organization, accounting, portfolio management including ethics. Presentations to be given on every subject for every year.

Once i gave an interview during college campus. They were offering part time work to us. General stipend included Rs. 4500. Actually i later thought that i opted for the work too early that i shouldnt have. But it was fun. Pick up and drop facilities were available to us. Best thing about it was that i was able to do sports in the morning, go to college after that and later in the evening used to go to office. So i enjoyed it a lot though bit hectic.

I must say that the placement and job opportunities provided by our college were not that vast. The college told us to go to some other place for interview. Best companies didnt visited our colleges.

Our BMS department used to conduct Astra Fest. The whole thing was organized by our people. During the fest many students came from different colleges. Participation level was good. Another fest our college conducted was Bhumika by BMM Department.

I will say it was expensive for me. Though compared to other college the fees was cheap but for average earning household it was expensive. For every sem we were to pay approx 20k. so that is way too much for me.

No. i am not familiar with any scholarship or loan facility given by our college and never heard about it. So i never availed any of them. But concessions were given based on caste certificates produced.

They were good. we our given the required platform to showcase our talents. I was very much active in sports and also represented our college in many events. Debates, competitions were equally good. so over all we were satisfied for this thing.

We didnt have any hostel facilities or mess food. But the canteen food was good actually good and in budget. So we usually hang around in the canteen whenever we had our free lectures.

Yes our college used to conduct alumni. I havent attended once since i left the college. But i am expecting it. but i am touch personally with some of my seniors.

The exam structure were chilled out. we used to come in the morning gave our exams, sat for 2hours and then leave for preparing for other subjects. Holidays in between were not frequent but that was good so that our subjects were quickly wraped up by 1 week and we were free after that.

Faculty were good indeed used to help us. But some were really strict like hell. They used to guide us during presentations and our fest. Helping us to understand the topic was the best thing about them. They helped us during the viva how to prepare for it.
