My college experience

Overall if anyone needs to ly know what is the curriculum books one can have themselves got into the college. But if u want to have sports and other campus life then this is not the place. The management doesn't help you with the campus life, u can make efforts on your own and can shine.

No entrance examination. I scored 92% aggregate in HSC. My cousin referred it to me, moreover wanted to do my UG in salem itself.

Good, they provide all the study materials, no hassle regarding the curriculum. They keep cycle tests to help prepare for semesters in advance too. Curriculum is well defined.

There are no internship programmes in the college. Hence no stipend. I feel there should be internship programmes in the college as it boost the employment environment.

Placement is fine, and job opportunities are moderate. Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Hewlett Packard, Dell, International Business Machine were few among the companies who visited for campus during our placements.

1.Departmental events. 2.Culturals. 3.Republic day. 4.Independence Day. 5.Tamil New Year. 6.Pongal/makar sankranti. 7.Hindi day. 8.Children's day. 9.Teacher's day etc.

The fee structure is very feasible for the middle income group and lil expensive for the lower income group. The bus fees charged is too high. Otherwise it is jus rupees 6500 for a semester, which lasts to the maximum of 5 months, there were few semesters which lasted ly 3.5 months, at that time it proved expensive.

Nope I didn't avail any. There was a programme from the state government. We were asked to submit the documents too but we were never contacted back regarding it. There are no scholarship programmes.

The campus life is very limited. I wud say that the campus itself is very small that the campus life would not exist. But the management allowed students to participate in competitions held in other colleges and also provided the travelling allowance based on the winning spot you achieved. There are no sports equipments and the sports activities are nill as the management doesn't think of having a sports field or ground.

Mess food was out of standard. I would ask the students not to have food from the mess and there are no cleanliness measures in the mess which makes it a real MESS. Regardin hostel, it was jus normal, lil below the standards.

There is no alumni. The seniors were fine, there were few who were supportive and there were few who were bully. Hence It was average. It depends upon us, as to where and with whom we get into.

Exam structure is good, as they keep cycle tests and help us get ready for the semesters in advance. There are certain mock tests before the semesters too, which help the students.

Good, but not upto the mark, more experienced staff are required. There are certain staffs who are experienced, but they realy for limited papers, hence experienced staff are very limited.
