Course structure for our course Biotechnology is amazing and curriculum activities are well planned and encouraging us to perform different activities to learn new things. Yes, the curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students.

International conferences, Workshops, Hands-on training programs We have a career development cell, also we have a Pongal celebration, teachers' day, Diwali celebration. As mentioned above we have technical, cultural, management festivals that our Biotechnology department holds in our college

We have no gender ratio, Student or dorm parties implemented in our college. Student diversity and tolerance with respect to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, and economic status is good. Everything is commonly is provided to us. This is women's college.

I have good experience with my college senior students and we do have interaction with our college seniors and have had alumni meet to learn their experiences.

I have set my goal when I am pursuing my higher education in a school that I should opt to Biotechnology. When I am searching for colleges to do undergraduate, I have come across Vivekananda college of engineering for women. I found the reviews are good while surfing, so decided to visit the college and understand the infrastructure

Tentatively we have 20 number of assistant professors in the Biotechnology department and they are highly qualified. Their classes would be very useful and interesting to gain knowledge on the subject. Yes, our lecturers hold relevant industry experience and certifications.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

My Review

My college has good infrastructure facilities, a sports centre, libraries etc. This all are well maintained in a day to day manner. The students do safely in college. The hostel also inside the institution. Here the hostel also well maintained in day to day manner. The foods are also so hygienic. The libraries include a lot of journals, a lot of programming language textbooks and newspapers. All buses are set up with a GPS. This is so much helpful too, where is your daughter now. In case of emergency situations, the students are going to the hospitals with the respective class advisor....Read More
