Always with good remarks for both college and the faculties. I will be proud to say as VCEW alumnae.

All the electives chosen were purely based on the student's demand. Very fair teaching methodology. Well organized industrial visits which were very useful and helpful for placements and it was knowledge-based also. Every year at least they got permissions for 2 industrial visits.

Provided all information regarding placement. Conducted aptitude tests, group discussion and technical interview once in a week during the academic session with self-interest of the faculties and students.

We organized technical events, sports events, cultural fests, etc. We have formed our department forum activities named "Elforia" which was purely students organized activities conducted. The management and the department have given us full freedom in those days to conduct all such activities and even sponsored by themselves.

In 2002 the annual fee was around 45000 per year and the college has provided us with a facility of paying the tuition fee in 2 terms to 3 terms which were very helpful. There were no additional charges except university exam fee, we paid. Yes, the college was provided with all fee breakdown in receipts.

I haven't opted for a scholarship or educational loan. But the college provided with those facilities for the needful.

When I started studying at VCEW, I was unsure about my future and I was anxious about the different challenges I was heading forward to face, as we were the first batch. But the college has given us limitless opportunities to expose ourselves in all extracurricular activities, encouraged us to conduct and organize technical events, etc.

Well maintained hostel and provided with hygienic food. Every weekend they conducted some events in the open space arena. Full freedom for students within their limits. They provided study hour in the evening and encouraged us for group study to clarify doubts.

Since we are the first batch of EEE department, We don't have seniors. But all the alumnae in VCEW were friends through the alumni network and get together events conducted by our college.

I chose this course as it has more demand in both the private and government sectors. Since it is a Women's college, it is more secure and safe. I got admission through Anna University Counselling by 2002 in Chennai. I selected this college in my first round and got the order.

More than 10 lectures with highly qualified personnel, friendly and supportive in all the ways. Easily accessible when required. They will not hesitate to clear doubts at any time. They treated us as their children. They all were well experienced in their own areas.
