A college with good placement and great infrastructure

PSIT follows the academic curriculum as stated by AKTU. Lectures are planned in such a manner that the course of AKTU, GATE examination, and interview questions may all be covered. Special training courses are mandatory for the students to master their vocabulary, technical knowledge, and English proficiency.

Infosys is the day one recruiter of PSIT. Students are admitted by Infosys through infyTQ which provides a package ranging from 5 LPA to 10 LPA. the majority of students are selected by the placement drive of Infosys which provides a package ranging from 350000 LPA to 400000 LPA. Other major companies are TCS, Capgemini, Analytics Quotient, etc.

WAVES is the fresher's party which is a grand event. The college holds great reputation in the annual AKTU competition. The grandest event of all is the two-day college fest Ignitia. Apart from cultural activities a lot of coding competition are also held. The college participates in 24-hour SIH hackathon.

The fee structure is pretty justified by all the wonderful facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, state of the art auditorium, sports ground, medical facilities, etc. PSIT is very strict when it comes to rules and regulations, with every rule comes a fine with it which may vary from hundreds to thousands of money.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship but they do provide scholarships to student who has a certain percentage in 12 and 10 standards and is able to clear the exam by the college. scholarships of around 40000 are provided by aktu to a student who fall under their criteria.

In the computer science branch the ratio of girls to boys is 3:5. The ratio of girls is the highest in the cs branch. Branches like mechanical and civil rarely have a girl. Despite the imbalance in gender ratio, equality is maintained. Sports is also a major part of events, the college has separate volleyball, basketball and badminton court for boys and girls.

The hostel infrastructure is well planned and nice. The rooms are spacious and each room has a balcony. The hostels also have air-conditioned rooms. sports facilities are provided. Each hostel has its own badminton court. Girls and boys have separate basketball and volleyball court.

An alumni meet is held for the students of the third year and fourth year where alumni share their experience with the students and share their hardship and success story.

I took the AKTU exam and got PSIT after counseling. I joined the college because of its placement rate, the placement package, the discipline policy, and the infrastructure. The classrooms and hostel rooms are all fully air-conditioned. There a number of clubs for activities like sports, dance, singing, etc.

8 lectures are held on a daily basis, each lecture is of 50 minutes. The 8 lectures could either be a theory class, lab, or special training class. The faculty comprises many professors with teaching experience of more than five years. After every 2 lectures there is a 10-minute break in which a student may clear their doubts and if necessary they can contact the professor through the online medium as well as meet them in person in recess time.
