Biotechnology course has a wide range of subjects throughout the course like genetic engineering, plants and animals biotechnology, molecular biology etc. All of these subjects groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students which are helpful in future. In each semester students are taken for industrial visits organized by the college which helps them to learn practically the techniques and methods used in processing the products.

A lot of companies have conducted a drive in our college like zifotech, synergies scientific, visionary rcm etc. These all are core companies of the biotechnology department with good salary packages. Every year there is 100% placement only because of the placement classes that we get by well-talented staffs.

In every even semester, our college conducts cultural, sports day, Pongal celebration, achievers day, annual day, women's day etc. These functions take place for 1 week. By this, many talents like dancing, singing, playing, drawing etc come out. These programs give a platform to the students to show out their talents to the world.

Fees for me is exactly what is charged for government quota. Students can pay fees in the account section at any time. Yearly we pay 3 times by dividing the whole fees in the account section, after paying the fees they provide a well-described fees bill which is helpful for students as well as for parents.

As I'm admitted to this college through government quota, I'm getting a yearly scholarship through Anna University.

The college has well-infrastructured laboratories for all the departments.we have physical teachers to guide us for our favourite games. This opportunity creates a huge platform for sports players to reach great heights and to bring glory to our college. Many conferences, seminars and workshops are conducted in our college to enlighten the students with extra knowledge by dignified guests.

It is the best place to live in. All the facilities are provided by the college. Wardens and roommates are always there to encourage and support us for all the ups and downs. The food is very good and nutritious. In the hostel, there is a gym, prayer room, study room, badminton court etc.

Seniors are like the backbone for the juniors. They are always there to encourage and help us in all the hard situations. Interactions with alumni help us to know the ways to reach great heights like them.

I got admission in this institution through engineering counselling. I attended sports counseling at Anna University, Chennai through which I got sports government quota in this college. Since I secured less marks in 12th maths subject . I decided to choose a biotechnology course as it is a science-based course and I had an interest in doing research too.

Biotechnology department consists of 8 faculties which are highly expertise in all the subjects of this course. They practically show the experiments which help the students to gain good knowledge. They too have a lot of experience by attending all the conferences, seminars etc with students.
