The college life of Saroop

It was a heaven for me. Even the college management could be better to the students.

The course is a six semester ug course, in each semester you have to face four to five core and language papers and approx one to two practical labs also. But I assure you it will be the most memorable time in your life. Those thouree years made me bold enough to face any exams. Even we had a six days industrial visit. Where we got a best opportunity to come across the electrical equipments manufacturing and their R&D. Even when I was hired by Wipro the learnings which I did from my college made me confident to face the aptitude exams and the interview.

Placement in our college is very low, as I also had to attend a placement drive which was conducted at another college on our city. Where I was selected for one of the MNCs. But then they are planning for a better placement cell so that in the future they will be able to give there students a placement drives there in the same campus.

The fee structure of the college is feasible for a common man. As it's a selfinancing college then also the fee structure is affordable for the common person. My program fee was around eighteen thousand rupees per semester (6 months) the payment modes accepted are Cash cheque DD etc. Yes they provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

No I didn't availed any of the scholarships and educational loans. As I was admitted to the college on the basis of merit.

The campus life was an unforgettable experience in my life. We had many extracurricular activities, competitions, no politics were there only a single students union members were elected every year under the university norms. So no issues for gender, ethnicity, rave, religion, politics and economic status we all studied together without the mentioned issues and completed our courses.

No I didn't availed the hostel as I was a day scholar. I commuted daily to the college by the public transportation facility or the college bus. This no hostel rooms were required by me. Normally the accommodation are moderate only which is feasible by a common student.

Yeah alumni network makes all the super senior to be get in touch with each other even college arranged alumni meetings once in a year or once in two year.

I got the admission based on the merit list by Kerala University. First stage is filling up the application for the Kerala University UG admission online. Then waiting for the allotments. Once allotments are out look for the rank list or the merit list of the course you have applied for. Once you are in the merit list you can directly contact the college for the further admission procedures.

Truly saying faculty for the electronics department were awesome. They knows at what stage a student is and helps him or her in attaining much more in there career. They were very helpful during the course timing even during the exam time also they provided suffice notes and details for the upcoming exams.
