Course Curriculum Overview
The professors looked after the curriculum on a good note. Exams were taken on a quarterly basis. Yes the curriculum was groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students that would be helpful in securing on-campus placement. Yes industrial visits are organised.
Placement Experience
The companies which visits the campus are : Deloitte, Capgemini, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Concentrix, Infosys, IBM, Amazon. The general steps are first they take a apti round followed by a technical round followed by hour round. 90% students appear for the placement every year. Yes the institution takes special classes and provide the guidance very nicely.
College Events
Technical fest known as Innovation. Cultural event. Inter- college fest. Food fest. Games event. Painting event. Photography event. Many other colleges even participates. Many celebrities join the fests are makes the event more memorable. T-shirt painting event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. Around 50k per semester. Had to submit a chalan in the bank near the college. There is no additional fees that had to be paid in order to secure an admission to the cours. Yes they provides a transparency in the fee- breakdown. A bit high than order college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loans. Was not required for any such loans and never got any scholarship.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 2:1 but the number is not that much less. The number of male is much more than the number of females bur the nimber is not so high. There is no dorm parties or cultural societies. There is a no-ragging cell in the college. So no discrimination between the gemders.
Hostel Facilities
No as i live near my college and used to travel daily. Never required for the hostel. It was mostly for the people who lives very far. There are many PGs near the college which many students availed.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are very helpful. The alumni network is very strong with the professors and the seniors. Didn't get the opportunity yet.
Admission
After my 12th result came out, i was called for an interview as i qualified the criteria of the college. I opted for the institution as it is the number 1 in private colleges in Kolkata. I ppted for the course as i was passionate about computer. Interview was based on my marks in school and interests.
Faculty
Yes they did. Tentative we had 5-6 classes for each subject in a week. They provided notes for all the subjects. Average age must be around 27-35 and qualifications as masters, BeD. They used to take extea classes when ever needed or in any difficulty.
