I really feel blessed to be a part of this college as it has helped me achieve my goal.

The college follows the syllabus prescribed by VTU(Vishweshwaraiah Technological University). This is a board which is under the educational government of Karnataka. The syllabus and the scheme of evaluations are pretty good and fulfill the requirements of an Industry. There are subjects that are required to make us industrial professionals.

The college pays special attention towards placement. From first year students are groomed on Aptitude and personality skills to help crack the interview. Top MNCs like TCS, Juniper, Phillips, JP Morgan, Amazon, Wipro, Mahindra, Ernst & Young, Accenture, VMware etc are our premium recruiters with base package of 4lpa to highest package being 15lpa. I recently got placed on 29th August, 2019 at Ernst & Young and Accenture with package of 4.5 lpa.

The college not only focuses on studies and placements. There are many technical events organized by each department of our college like quiz, debate, English elocution, pick and speak, treasure hunt, fashion show. There is an annual college fest called Geetayaana which is an event for which the entire college waits every year. Many students from different college come to take part. Apart from this there are separate clubs that also organize events that are fun learning.

The fees is quiet affordable as this is the only girls Engineering college of Karnataka and so we have various scholarship schemes. Apart from these the fees differ for CET students to COMED-K students. The mode of payment is either cash or cashless. We can submit cheques or pay thourough NEFT. The fee structure is transparent and there are not extra charges between the course.

No I did not apply but students do get scholarships annually. There is a scholarship program called Geetachaitanya which pays Rs 10,000 to applying students. Apart from these there are various government scholarships that are supremely for girls.

This is a pure girl's college, but there are male faculties. The college not only conducts aptitude tests, Personality classes but also organises debates, dance competition, fashion show, Miss Geetayaana, Paper presentation events, Idea presentation, Project making competition etc. Apart from these the hostel also conducts events like racing, carrom board, chess, badminton competition, table tennis competition etc.

Yes, I have opted for hostel facility which is at the campus and I am greatly impressed from the hygiene and the kind of food provided. The rooms are extremely clean, and maids do visit everyday to clean the rooms and washourooms. The food here is prepared in extreme hygiene and none have fallen sick even once. I am thouroughly enjoying this benefit since 3 years. Also the hostel fee is less compared to other colleges which is amazing.

Yes, The alumni of the college are always in touch as they visit along with the company they get placed to help address them. They are a source of contact between college and comapany.

I had applied thourough COMED-K, an entrance exam for students outside Karnataka. Post test, I had my results which was my rank acc to which I had to attend a counseling session at Bangalore. Acc to my rank that time there were 16 seats left for GSSSIETW college. Later, I had to reach the college for further admission process like payment and hostel etc.

In my CSE department there are 30 lecturers, among them most are PHD holders.They are well versed in their field, and have had industry experience. Their average age would be between 30 to 65. Since the lectures had industry exposure, we get every year an industrial visit to any one of the reputed companies in Bangalore/Hyderabad/ Mangalore.
