My College

Our College is ahead when it comes to any kind of celebration, festivals, competitions and extra circular activities but not that much in studies so it's pretty fun college

placement I don't know about yet but teaching is average and exams structure is kind of different because we have two mid semester exams and PBL presentation,although I find the PBL kind of unnecessary because they give us any random irrelevant topic which may or may not be related to our course and we have to give presentation on that

Placement I have heard is good and there are lots of big companies coming in our campus such as Infosys and coco cola

College is kind of popular for event all types of cultural and non cultural events and activities celebrated in college, also the management is mostly handled by students them selves, budget is given by CEO of department, we celebrate any of religious festivals as well as technical events as Sports week

it's 39000 per semester and stays same till 1st to 8th semester, there are no additional charges unless you wanna join some kind of membership such as IEEE or red hat etc related to our own field and career, although if you apply for 50% scholarship you have to visit different colleges and do lots of paper work plus you have to do it each semester

I don't opt any scholarship as general student, our college doesn't give any kind of scholarships besides they just give eligibility certificates if we are eligible for them, generally criteria is 80 Percentile

I am not much of a active student when it comes to competitions but there are lots of events and competitions organized by and in our college and students are bound to participate in them because without them we cannot gather 100 activity points and without those points we are not eligible for getting our college degree even tho we have passed all board exams

no, because hostel of the college is kind of far from the college and yes I do live In PG separate from college which charges around 6k per month and food quality of good as well as space, the main thing for 1st semester student was to stay near the college but the PGs near the colleges mostly don't have good management of food

I have consulted few seniors whenever I needed and yes there's no ragging or any other issues for freshers, but faculties are always available whenever we need any kind of help

I gave exam of GUJCET mandatory for admission, They combine Result of GSEB and GUJCET exam in ratio of 60-40 and based on that you may get individual rank in your state for merit and according to rank of your own, you may choose the college, The lesser your rank the better college you can get

We kind of lack facilities in college in last semesters as well as faculties, There are barely 3-4 faculties handling all 5 classes of computer engineering which is kind of annoying, time table is never followed, we get lots of free lectures, some faculties can't even read English properly
