Agricultural College

It is awesome. One of the best campus and it is Asia's 3rd best agricultural university.

There are both theory classes and practical classes and a lot of things are learned from practicals because agriculture is a practical thing. The exams are held thourice they are : 1st hourlt exams, mid term exams and final exams in one semester amd also there are practical exams.

There is a special placement cell in our college which guarantees placement in some company or in govt. Jobs.

Youth festival, athletic meets, cultural progressions, farmer fairs, regular guidance programmes, etc. The youth festival is the biggest fest of all of them and is very joyful and it takes place usually in the month of november and lasts for about 7 days and has various events such as songs, painting, debate, dance, group songs, on the apot photography, heritage events, etc.

Feasible, we can pay online or by bank draft method. The fee can be payed online to thourough their website i.e. pau.edu. Or by bank challan method if one wants to pay it by offline method. There are no additional fee charges only the regualr charges are apllicable.

It offers scholarships, to the poor and the outstanding students. The scholarships vary from 500 per month to 1200 per month.

The gender ratio is somethat about 70:30 and there are various events like hostel nights, fresher's party, farewell party, etc. There is no polotics in our college and this is a great point as due to politics usually there are fights between students.

Yes, the hostel rooms are great with attached bathouroom and toilet and one room is given to 2 students on sharing basis. Mostly the students get hostel accomodation but if one wants to live in a PG the average charges are nearly 5000 per month.

The seniors are vety helpful the do come and visit the college and guide us accurately. Most of the alumini are in jobs so they come on weekends or during youth festivals.

I had an interest in agriculture and wanted to uplift the agriculture of my country. I prepared for entrance test which is held usually in the month of june and the syllabus was oh 9th,10th,11th and 12th standard. Almost 10000 students give the entrance examination but only about 180 students are selected.

There are almost 8 - 9 lecture in one semester and teachers are of all ages. The teachers are verg good and we can understand everything which they tell or explain. Mostly old teachers are getting retired and young and new passout students are taking their place and they are more good as they know our situation better due to their recent passout.
