A great college

I did my +2 in computer science vocational which made me eligible to choose BCA as my course. I chose BCA because i love computers and love to study about it and BCA is the course which fulfill my requirements. Main reason for choosing Kanya Maha Vidyalya as my college is because of its atmosphere which is not just safe but peaceful and friendly too.

My course ie BCA's structure is really nice and satisfying. We got to learn many computer languages like C, C++, JAVA, ASP.NET, SQL all in just 3 years with many other useful subjects too. No field is left untouched. The most important thing is that the study is not just theoratical but practical too.

The college do provide internship to students. Companies like wipro, infosis, ibm come in college to recruit the students who have the potential. All these are maintained by the placement-cell department of the college which is currently under Mrs. Anshu Obroi.

Many companies like wipro, infosis, ibm and many other multinational companies came in college which mostly included BPOs. Which had placements in cities like chandigarh, noida, banglore, gurgaon etc with packages starting from 15000-20000 upto potential of students. Hunderds and even Thousands of students get recruited every year.

College is full of events. Events take place frequently in order to enhance the personality of the students. These events includes many national and international conferences, Sukriti (the fashion show), Fate, Silver night and Golden night, KITE (the IT fest), Achiever's Day, Annual Day etc.

Fee structure of the college is very genuine as it is a semi-government college, fee for BCA is approximately 33000 rs per year which is feasible. The college even provides many scholarships for the deserving students and even relaxments for the poor students who are not able to five the fees.

Scholarships are provided from time to time according to the performance of the students as well as according to their financial conditions. According to the performance of the students, the merit position in the exams, the students avail scholarship accordingly like for the first merit position its 500 rs per month for second its 400 rs per month and so on.

No doubts exams make the day very hectic. But air conditioned library, grassy ground filled with flowers and trees are provided where students can sit, prepare for their exams and get chilled out with the lap of mother nature. Even the college is filled with peacocks too whose beauty relieves mind a lot .
