Faculty members are so helpful

The college and department is good. The staff and teachers are helpful.

I was graduated in 2015, the course and syllabus has changed from 2015 to 2020. A lot of new topics added in recent curriculum. Recently CBCS system introduced which helps students to understand the topic and knowledge driving. Students will benefit by the new cbcs system.

As it is a degree college so there is no facilities for on campus placement. A few carrier counseling organization are well in touch with the college so it might help the students to opt some future carrier guide.

College organizes annual meet of every department, Freshers and Farewell for the students and also various seminars organized by all of the departments. College has its own annual cultural program, sports and also intra college competition as well as inter departmental competition.

As it is government aided college so fee structure are quite reasonable for all kind of students coming from various backgrounds. Poor and rich all families can afford the fee of the college, college also have the facility to submit fees in every month by the students.

The college have its own scholarship program for poor and needy students. Students have to fill an application form which is verified by the departmental heads and after that it has to be verified by office and finally principal signed it and the money is given to the needful students.

The campus life was good, male and female ratio are quite well. As the college situated in kolkata the heart of wrst bengal so diversity of students are quite well. Students from every part of west bengal are come to the college for study. Laboratory of my department is good, the lab support all of the instruments which is needed for practical purposes. College have given sports equipment to every department for its students. Extracurricular activities are well known of the college, various extracurricular activities are performed by the students.

The college does not have a hostel or PG room for its students. So, the students have to rent rooms in nearby localities such as Garia Station area, Jadavpur area and other places near to college. The fooding and lodging charge are quite affordable for the students in above mentioned areas.

Alumni association is held at every alternative year for various reasons. Senior students are also good, they are helpful for various activities.

I love Biology and want to learn more about the subject, Biology is the passion for me. I want to discover something new which helps society to understand some disease and how to control them, take preventive measures. There are lot more in the subject to know. My High school teacher suggest me that college because of the faculty members of the college.

I think after recent recruitment the number of teachers increased to 6 or 7. Average age of of the teachers are ranging from 35 - 55. All of the faculty members hold Ph.D degree and have experienced in their field of work. So they are quite knowledgeable.
