Course Curriculum Overview
Yes. It is one of the best curriculum in the whole country. Depending on your interest, you can make the best use of IIT Hyderabad. Everyone can opt for Minors, Double Majors, Honors, Projects and many more to make the best of the opportunities at IITH.
Placement Experience
IOCL, L&T, HPCL. Group discussion, Interviews. 50% students get placed. No special steps were taken by the college.
College Events
Elan & Nvision, E-Cell. Many students from all across the nation come and participate in the fests. Various celebrities are invited to the fest to be a part of various activities band and festivities. There are both technical and cultural fest for many Students to participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
140,000. Expensive fee structure. Additional hostel and mess fees. Yes the college provide transparent fee-breakdown. But there are no additional fees that has to be paid to secure admission. Because the admission is purely based on merit. Mode of pay- Internet Banking
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loan is given by SBI without any interest rate due to the college high standing. Very few scholarships are available.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is poor (6:1). Extracurricular activities are also poor. But things are changing. Sports are good relative to other colleges, but poor relative to other IITs. Other factors such as race, etc are okay. There is no discrimination as such. There are few dorm parties. But now we are given Pod money to organise dorm parties.
Hostel Facilities
It is mandatory for UG to opt for hostel during the term. Only PhD students have an option for living by themselves. We have a single rooms as of now. But UGs usually have combined rooms. 2 Students per one room.
Alumni/Alumna
Very Poor Alumni network. Because the college ha opened for only 10 years. The college opened in 2008.
Admission
Jee Mains, JEE Advanced, JOSA Admission Process. After the admission, we have to go to the nearest IIT for certificate Verification. After the verification is done, we'll have to go to our respective IIT for the final admission process where everything i verified.
Faculty
17 Professors, Average age- 40, they have the right knowledge but some of them fail to deliver this knowledge. But they do have industry relevant experience. Most of them are a part of large industrial projects. Many a times even the government refers to the industry to professors.
