Remarks

The college is decent overall. The library timings and the mess timings can be improved a bit and also interactions with seniors can also be improved as there is no way to interact with them as they lack club activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The learning is mostly textual but they make sure to give us practical knowledge as well. There are exams/class tests every 20 days which helps you remain connected to your studies and not go astray. The discipline is one thing that is not compromised here at all.

Placement Experience

3.5

A large number of companies visit the college every year and Infosys, TCS, Capgemini being the top recruiters. These are responsible for the record number of placements on the very first day of the placement drives. Other companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, IBM, Dell, etc. also recruit students. Few students also managed to grab a placement from Amazon with a package as high as 26 LPA.

College Events

3

This section is the weakest among the rest. The year 2019-20 was an event-less, fest deprived year with literally no cultural events taking place. The students long to showcase their talents but haven't gotten any opportunity as of now. Though the annual techno-cultural fest Ignitia was scheduled to take place in April 2020.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible as they do not have any mess charges. They do not charge extra for medical facilities as well. The only amount we need to pay is for the tuition and the hostels. The college provides clear, fee-breakdown transparency.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship as I did not clear any of the existing grounds to avail scholarship

Hostel Facilities

4

The first year hostel is easily the best anyone can ask for. From the furniture to the maintained walls and LAN ports, everything is top-notch. They have cleaners to clean the washrooms and the corridors as well who are at work twice every day. They also provide 24 hours of RO water at every corner of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

We have yet not been introduced to an alumni network and the interaction with the seniors is also very limited. The anti-ragging campaign has had its disadvantages as we were not allowed to interact with the seniors

Admission

I took the UPSEE exam and secured a rank of around 20000. They also have a 15% reservation for students wanting to take the college's own entrance test. I took that and got admitted to the CSE branch. Their examination was divided into two sections, the first, the quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English in which we have to score more than 60% to advance. If you want the CS branch then you have to clear the second round of the entrance test which is the coding test. 60% is the cutoff criteria.

Faculty

4

The faculty is well educated and dedicated to their profession. They are strict but helpful too. 8 lectures are lined up from 9 am to 5 pm with a lunch break included. The lab faculty is also knowledgeable enough and will help us whenever required. A class co-ordinator is assigned to every section to act as a link between the students and the administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
