Everything is good except in annual fest they charge money from students though the fest is not that big they cannot bring in advertisements so they charge from students and the college does not provide financial help in this fest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties are very good and co-operative.There were yearly exams but now there are semesters.You will have 2 semesters in a year and 1 internal exam before each semester.This college falls under calcutta university so the marks will be given by the university.
Placement Experience
Well to be honest when i was there the placements were not that good and most of us haven't done any internships as of such but now as i heard the placement cell provides with good internships.
College Events
There are differnt events celebrated.The famous one is Srijan which is held every year.T here will be departmental freshers,farewell,teachers day.Tgere is a actuve learing day which is celebrated.The big one is srijan which is an inter college fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is a bit expensive compared to other colleges since there is air conditioner in each and every room.I was charged approximately Rs40000 per year.Sine semester system has been implemented so it can be Rs 20000 per semester.So a bit expensive compared to other colleges of calcutta university.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there was no scholarship which was provided to us neither we opted for any as the fees structure is a tad bit high so one who can afford it apply in these colleges.
Campus Life
It is a girls college so no question of gender ratio.Extracurricular,lab,sports,debates everything is held.There is also an annual sports day which is held.T he quality standards are high and there are no politics.There are different workshops which are held.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very nice and helpful.A good college indeed for girls you won't have any problem to adjust gere.This is kind of a school.
Admission
A very reputed girls college in kolkata.The admission was based on merit list.If you are shortlisted you will get enrolled.There can be 2 or 3 selection lists.You have to keep a look on the website and fill up the admission form and they will give the dates of the list.
Faculty
The faculty were very nice.Some of them were young still pursuing phd others were full time professors.There are 2 lecturers on one particular subject and you can easily communicate with them.N o there weren't any industry experience as of such the lectures were related to the university syllabus.
