I applied for DU entrance exam for BCA and then got admission in Maharaja Agrasen college because this is well known for good education and also nearby to my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm persuing B.tech (Computer Engineering) Bachelor of computer application. This course is of 3 years. This course defines all computer application in one course. Some components are JAVA, C, C++, etc.

Internships Opportunities

There is good internship experience in our college. Companies like Dell, Micromax, Infosys, Microsoft, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, etc gave placement for more than 7lac.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are good here for those who deserve it like those who carries good marks, knowledge and personality as well. There is very good placement records.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college belongs to DU therefore fee structure of our college is feasible, Students who belong to poor family can also afford it. It is nearly 35k to 50k for all courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have never availed scholarship but our college usually provides scholarship and loans too to those extraordinary students to those who deserve it.

Our college usually participate in extracurriculars, labs, sports, competition etc. We have recently got participation in debate over ODD EVEN car formula. We also participate state level competition but never robotics.

Alumni/Alumna

As our college is free from ragging so our senior's are friendly with us they helps us with notes, assignments, doubts. I know some of my seniors very well they help me in studies sometimes on phone too.

Exam Structure

Our college campus is very big in size, So there is a big hall where exam carries and labs are well maintained with all components. It frequent leaves us with hectic day.

Faculty

Faculty of our college is excellent, well educated, having good knowledge about subject. They treat every student equally. Sometimes they also give extra classes for doubt.

my best decision for my enjoyment

Placement Experience:

The college provide very good placement after the second year, provided student should not have any backlogs. The average package that my last year senior received around 4.3 lpa. Many of the reputed IT companies had vistied my campus.

I would read the IGNOU courses curriculum has good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the syllabus is well structured and design for distance learning with study material explain concept clearly and support service study this flexibility and affordability for the main reason I choose this course the curriculum provides are strong theoretical foundation and is useful for father studies as well as basic professional knowledge how ever Addy more practical exposure life internet is session and update industrial oriented content could make the course even better IGNOU conductor and examination twice a year along with compulsory assignment that contribute to the final marks the exam schedule is convenient and difficulty level is moderates student to follow the study materials and cement on the time can clear the exam without much difficulty or all the curriculum is student friendly relevant and su suitable for learner who prefer flexible higher education while managing other responsibilities.

Placement Experience:

There is no real campus placement system in IGNOU for most UG and PG courses. No regulaar companies visit the campus. no official list of recruiters, or roles. Only few job fairs or career webinars There is no publish verified placement statistics and placement percentage is not available. my plans after getting degree is prepare for higher studies and job roles alongside

A disciplined college with average exposure and honest reality.

Placement Experience:

Placement at jims vk2 are average and not very strong, especially for BCA. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Compinies and offer Some small it companies , startup,and service based firms visit the campus. roles are Technical support, junior developer, and so on. Package details Highest package: Around average level, nothing exceptional. Average package: Entry level salary , suitable only for freshers. College does not officially publish detailed placement stats . placement percentage : only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. mostly students look for off campus placements. Employability and my plans after completing my bca i go gor off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
