Lalit Kumar Rana's Review On Marwari College, Ranchi

I took the entrance examination of the Marwari College Ranchi. I got selected on the basis of my marks. After that I chosen B.Sc. IT because I love IT field. IT sector is now rapidly developing in our country that's why I made my mind to make career in IT sector. I choose Marwari college because it give opportunity to select my favorite course.

Course curriculum of our B.Sc. IT is of three years and this course is really a very interesting because there is a lot of things in this course to learn and implement practically.

Currently I am in third year and no companies have came so far in our college but at the last of our third year the TCS and WIPRO company is coming to take interviews in our college.Stipend of both companies is about 15000 per month.

Placement and job opportunity in our is also very they good. A lot of leading companies come to select the best students as in campus selection. Last year more than 30 students were selected in different companies from our college in campus selection. Both the TCS and WIPRO company offered 15000 thousand per month for first three years.

Marwari Utsav is the festival held every year in our college in month of January. Many students participate in different campaigns in this Utsav. Time to time many technical and cultural programs also held in our college. These types of functions are very helpful for skill development of the students. Marwari Utsav is celebrated as the annual function of the college.

Yes Scholarships are available in our college for ST/SC and OBC students only. Every year the amount of fees paid at the admission time is returned in scholarship to the students. Students have to fill scholarship forms and submit it in the online website ekalyan for eligibility of scholarship.Loans are currently not available in our college. Scholarships are really very helpful for those students who are unable to pay their college fees.

The campus is very large and very beautiful really. The college campus is well maintained like a high society. Gender ratio is very good in our college, I think the ratio is about 60:40 in our college. There are many diversities in our college like sports competition, quiz competition, dance competition etc. are held.There are no facility for extracurricular labs but sports competition are good .

Our seniors are very supportive to us. Some of seniors are my good friends, they help me in my projects and preparation of my examinations. They give me question papers of last years that help me so much. There is dedicated Alumni function for alumni student in our college every year. All alumni students gather in our college in alumni function and we treat them very well. We also organize a cultural program for them. Alumni students also participate in different activities of cultural programs.
