Poornima's Review On NMKRV College For Women, Bangalore

The college has the best teachers and professors who are not only in the education field but also in the field of theater and politics. I liked the way many senior students described the punctuality and the methods they adapted to teach(Ex Notes). The campus was full of greenery and spacious. Best if you wanted to sit calm and study. Also, the college is in the heart of the city which makes mobility easy.

I don't think my college had internship those days. The college makes it easy for a lot of physically challenged students too. I however heard after my academic years that there were companies like HP, Phillips, Accenture, Mphasis who came for campus interviews. Students were offfered a stipend of ten thousand to fifteen thousand then. I think that was a good deal to students who passed out with good grade during those times.

Companies like Accenture, Mphasis, HP, Phillips, Niit do show up. However I sometimes even now see a lot of jobs mela going on in this college too. The placement office at the college has a very professional people to help you out not only for placements but also for other issues after your placements which often most of the colleges dont care of ones the student leaves.

There are many students from NMKRV who have actually become very famous in the field of music and sports. The college has number of cultural programs where in some of the top genuine politicians and celebrities are called in for speech which is very motivational too. Former CM SM Krishna also was our chief guest and we were so proud to see him. The college encourages inter college competitions too which are a lot of fun and creates a social environment for the students.

Very helpful senior students. There is no ragging. Alumni get together happens every year. They also provide good food and you get to meet a lot of staff and they are very happy to see you as well.

The labs are very well equipped and clean. All records are maintained safe and corrected by individual teachers only. The theory and practical exams are all foul proof. No cheating by either teachers or the students. There is some amount of lenient correction too so no worries.

The Faculties were the best compared to my BHS PU college. They were strict when it comes to assignments and attendance. They had excellent knowledge about their subjects and gave notes to jod down some main points and we felt that the notes were more easier to study and understand the matter. I also liked the self esteem these teachers held up all the time. There was no partiality in this college.
